Re: Sean's Fable Trivia

HobbeBrain: The Sandgoose is rumoured to be a big arse bird, that was mentioned by the Oracle in Fable TLC. Also, a woman in Fable 2 has a blue feather in her had, said to be from a sandgoose.

--

Purple Nurple: The Sandgoose was a mythical goose that lived in the desert. It was rumoured to have been in Fable 1 but was not in the game files.
However, it was mentioned in TLC and Fable 2 as a character: The Oracle in TLC explains some facts about the mythical creature, saying it never existed. It was in Fable 2 in Oakfield, where it now rests in peace. It's grave can be seen in the graveyard: "Sandgoose: Loved by all, seen by none."

Other facts:

The Sandgoose could speak every language known to man.
It was the fastest running animal.
It was the size of the house.
It was the cheating man's girlfriend in fable TLC: 'You're my little sandgoose.'

--

CheezMcNasty: a wild bird

--

Evan52395: The Sandgoose is a mythological goose said to be in a desert in Albion. Many stories have been told about this legendary creature. It is also said to speak English at the level of a 3 year old. It was hypothesized that this flightless bird was the size of a house, lived primarily in deserts and was able to speak a variety of languages other than English.

--

Necromancer11: It's supposed to be some kind of mythical goose or bird type thing.

Okay, this week's question is a no right or wrong answer question. Send me a PM telling me what you want to see in Trivia, what type of prizes, maybe different styles of playing, if there's anything new or something you think you want to see in this trivia contest PM me it and let me know, don't really care or don't want anything new? Send me a PM telling me that too. Everyone who sends in an honest answer gets rep, also this Friday Necromancer11 will be posting the next question, so keep your eyes open and Fable minds running, he says he's got a good one! Thank You.

-Sean.

Re: Sean's Fable Trivia

Well, only one person answered the trivia question this time.

Question: (Fable: TLC) How many imprisonment/torture devices can be seen on and around the walls of the Secret Haven?

cheezMcNASTY said:

3 iron maidens and 2 stretchy beds :D

Answer: 6

Sorry Cheez, there actually weren't any iron maidens. There were three sets of chains, two 'stretchy beds' as you call them , and a cage.

Next question:

(Fable 2) What weapon is said to have been wielded by Captain Dread?

Re: Sean's Fable Trivia

Wow, lost of responses this time! I guess the question was a little too easy.

Next question:

(Fable TLC) How many legendary weapons are found inside demon doors? Give a number, name the weapon(s), name the region(s) in which the demon door(s) is/are located, and name the area(s) inside the demon door(s).

Re: Sean's Fable Trivia

You shouldn't have won just for that rudimentary spelling mistake. I do not approve.

Purple Nurple said:
I don't know the answer to that question. Instead, how about a limerick?

The land has many demon doors,
Each will ask you a series of chores,
Merely solving the riddle
Will grant you a magic fiddle
And you may continue with your Balverine wars!

But srsly, I have no answer for this question. But on a more serious note, Andy Murray is out of Wimbledon! WTF!
