Meh, all I know is that it won't work in a NA console. Never understood why there has to be a separation between them.

And is it some Aussie version with various cuts from the game, like missing blood, pillows replacing swords, or instead of killing things you dance them away?

I kid.

It does seem a bit silly to have two seperate versions for every game. Politics, I guess.

My 360 runs NTSC region games. I got sent a free copy of Lost Planet from America to test when it first came out and that worked on my 360 and mine is a PAL console.

Yep, European 360s can play both NTSC & PAL, Japanese 360s only do PAL, and NA 360s only do NTSC.

All PS3s on the other hand are region free for Blu-Ray discs (including games on BDs).
