Check out this thread in the Gamespot forums. Apparently, Topic Creator bought Fable III at a local game shop early. At first I was like "Hahahaha, no" but he's actually got a few screenies as proof. He's gonna take some more at a later date apparently. Might be worth watching this. Hopefully not a hoax.

I really, really, really hate this kind of things. Good Lord, the release date is the 26th (the 29th in Europe), why the **** he has to have the game early and me not?

Look, this thing happened with Fable 2, and I'm sure it will happen for every single game in the history of the world to come. It's one guy. The whole of America can get it before I can, no big deal.

its not like he went out of his way to get it early, he just stumbled upon it.

I'm guessing you would do just the same. and similarly be given abuse by other jealous fans. then say life isn't always fair and that they shouldn't complain...

I think the better question would be, why do they release it later if it's already completely finished? I have a week of holidays right now and only now do I have a lot of time to play this, but no..

Not cool

Why do you guys care? It's not like you guys are getting it late, they're just getting it early.

Given the choice i bet you would all get it now if you could and found out a retailer near you was selling it now. Happens sometimes with stores breaking release date, said stores can receive some hefty fines and future restrictions after doing this though.

This. Guys, it's a week left. In two weeks you will have completed once, if not twice.

Perspectives, people.

Well, incidentally, that week is a UK holiday hehe.

No work for me.

I feel like I'm a part of some Pavlovian experiment. I see pics of leaked Fable III, I start to drool.

No complaints here, though. Good for the dude that got it early.

I want to make a topic and end it with "it seems", just for continuity purposes.

I'm curious as to how one goes about doing this. Does it involve bribery, sheer luck, persuasion, or subterfuge?

Perhaps he strode into the building with a firearm and shouted: "PUT A COPY OF FABLE III IN THE BAG NOWWWW!!!" And then got in his automobile and drove off at great speed.
