Someone didn't pay the internet/phone, so we lost it for a bit, until they turned it back on.

That's usually my fault when it happens - I have to be reminded almost every few weeks via angry red letters before I realise I haven't paid some sort of utility bill. I blame it on not having been paid for almost a year thanks to the recession...but funnily enough the companies in question never seem to want to hear it. Sad face...
