So... I'm sure you all know about the US & Afghanistan Special Forces soldiers as well as the Army Air Crew who were killed when their helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan. Well family members of 19 of the US Special Forces soldiers requested that NO photographs be taken of their caskets, of the funeral or the event of them coming home. The Pentagon told the White House that if the White House were to take any photos, they would be going against what the family members had asked. Well, Obama always needs a photo-op to make himself look pretty and dignified and honorable. So the White House allowed an official White House photographer to "carefully" (<- LOL) take the picture of Obam-bam and four silhouetted men with Obama saluting, and them not showing the caskets being unloaded. However, to no surprise, the full picture is now out on the internet where you can actually see the soldiers carrying the casket and the other men.
I guess the White House just couldn't resist getting a juicy image of our President saluting our brave fallen men regardless of those men's families wishes. Although, to be honest, this is really no different than when George W Bush flew a fighter jet, regardless of the Secret Service's advice, onto an aircraft carrier where he said "Major Combat Operations in Iraq have ended." in early May 2003. Not even two full months after the rather large invasion of Iraq. Although in 2007, Bush demanded 21,000 more troops to be put into Iraq, and the Second Battle of Fallujah was in 2004, so clearly Major Combat Operations were NOT over. But hey, that was all for a photo op and publicity too, so.
