Hangin' out in a corn field
Im considering to get a Tattoo, its not just a random thing I just thought of, I have designed this Tattoo about 3 years ago, and Have been pondering on it ever since.. Im just un-sure if I want to or not..

A part of me is saying whats the point, but then the other part is saying if their is no point then why not? Haha

Here it is, if you're curious..

Thoughts? Anything you think I should add or change?

End of the day it shouldn't matter what others think, if you're gonna committ to something as permanent as a tat it should be solely for yourself. If it pleases others too, great, if not you could end up changing little bits to please others and not like it as much yourself in the long run.

As for the design I really like it, what does the writing say?

Yeah, I've been thinking that too, But thanks for the advice and reinforcement!

Its Japanese, Kanji (Apparently), It says One with the universe, so it kind of means, Im at peace with everything and what happens... Raddy raddy raaaaa..

I'd love to get a tattoo, but likely never will, partially because my mum doesn't like them and I don't want her to punch me in the face.

Where are you planning on your having your tattoo slapped onto? I want pics if it's going on your face.

I like tattoos, and if this has meaning for you then do it: I see too many people with "Mom." "Angie + Dave" or a skull with diamond eyes because they are uninspired and just want a tattoo to look tough or without deep meaning. This has meaning to you, and you like it. Do it.

My sister recently got a tattoo on her arm. Coloured orchids, with lots of shading. Ouch. I'd like one myself, and my sister and I have spoken about getting matching tattoos, 'cuz we're right soppy sods who like to boast about some sisterly bond.

Aslong as it isn't a pink butterfly tramp-stamp, Scarecrow, I'm sure you'll be fine - though admittedly that would pretty hilarious, imo.

Just make sure you get the text double/triple and quadruple checked for translations.

My dad is the only person in my whole extended family who dose not have a tattoo.
Do it up man.

My dad had his first a couple of months ago and not being someone to do things by half now has his entire back filled. Turned up at my door no more than 5mins ago and he has had his right arm done too (didnt even mention to me he was having any more work done). I think hes finally hooked.

I just got my third tattoo a week back if you like the design and are positively sure that, thats what the writing says then go for it. My tat is still healing and I'm already thinking about my next one they're very addictive thats for sure.

Just remember to be certain on the design and placement of the tattoo and you're good to go.

I have a passion towards Japanese history and culture and im insanely in love with Wolves... So yeeah.

I was thinking about getting in on my right shoulder blade or my right upper chest/boob area, not over the nipple though..

I wouldn't mind getting some asian writing on me, just the symbol for my chinese starsign. But I'm not sure I might just get a tattoo of both western & eastern starsigns but as an image two fishes(pisces) with a snake coiled around them maybe.

In any case if you do end up getting the tattoo its better off something that holds meaning to you, alot of people end up regretting them or covering them up because they don't think about what they want, so give it a good al' thinkerin before deciding and if you get one, bloody well enjoy it.

Thanks for the heads up, ill give it a bit more thinking, and maybe save a bit more money too.. Oh yeah, would you have any idea how much it would cost to get a tattoo like that, pretty basic, and about as big as a hand stretched out?

It varies from place to place, my last one which was the first image I got was 120 which covers the majority of my bicep. My first was down my forearm was 90 and my wrist was 30.

The person on reception should tell you how much it will cost and if you think thats acceptable they'll ask you to leave a deposit

My next tattoo im designing is Japanese inspired too as ive always loved the history and old philosophies. I have my left shoulder blade, shoulder, arm, and left side of chest towards nipple done, so similar area. PS Collarbone isnt a nice place to get tattooed (like a swarm of bees inside your head as the needle hits the bone). The vibrations sent my vision funny for most of the day.

Keep in mind that there is a high chance that the novelty of the tattoo will not last nearly as long as the tattoo itself. What seems cool to you now you may grow to hate later. So you better be damn sure you want that before making it a permanant part of you body. For example, when I was 18 I got my ears peirced and thought it was really cool. Now I have to little holes in my ears that I hate, luckily they aren't very noticable. I like to think it tells people "I wised up and don't where ear rings anymore". If you want the tattoo because of an "I want to be different" mentality, you will probably find that most people don't care about it at all.

Personally, I don't mind tattoos, but when I see someone who has tons of them all over their body (and usually about half a pound worth of metal in their skin) it's really difficult for me to take them seriously, even if their older than me.

As for your design, I like it. But I don't think you should get it tattood.
