Terminator: Salvation

THAT WAS UTTERLY PATHETIC.

The plot made no sense.
The script was terrible.
And for a super intelligent hive mind, Skynet makes a hell of a lot of mistakes.

WHY WAS THIS MOVIE EVEN MADE?!

The reviews were quite poor but i havent seen it so cant offer an opinion.

I agree, I don't base my judgement soley on others who have watched it. I prefer to actually see it myself and then make a decision whether I'll rent it or own it.

Why are a lot of good old movies raped by a new sequel being made?

Because it takes so little effort in making such a movie than starting from scratch and making a good, new original movie.

You have everything from plot and characters, down to the setting of the movie all there for your taking.

Re: Terminator: Salvation

Whenever a film is made to end an amazing series, it always messes up as Scarecrow said. American Pie is a prime example. American Pie 1, 2 and The Wedding were amazing. Band Camp, The Naked Mile and Beta House.. Not so much. It happens with everything. They should think about what they're doing.

Finished the plot.

No.

It didn't.

It screwed it up.

Terminator has more holes than... something with holes.

Re: Terminator: Salvation

Terminator 3 was bad, why did you even have hopes for this?
Bale needs to put on his Batman suit again and stay away from crap like this.

I have to see the movie like it or not. I really only liked the first two, the third one was upsetting (riiiiiight, machines practicing reverse psychology, eff that), and I expect this one to fail so hard that I break out into tears, but I must see it. The Terminator was one of those big things in my childhood. It would be as if Santa was making a movie.

Same here, I just have to see it no matter how bad it may be.

T3 wasn`t that bad I think, it just got "pwnd" by the awesomeness of it`s predecessors`(especially by T2).

Re: Terminator: Salvation

I think this movie actually delivers what we've wanted from all the others. I've always wanted to see more of the future in the terminator movies and to see more action, this movie game me all that.

Re: Terminator: Salvation

I liked it... I liked it a lot actually. Granted... I didn't really car for the plot from the very first movie. I just liked all the action and special effects... oh the special effects, they were beautiful.
If you want an action movie, go see it. It's a good movie.
