ok so the problems fixed? im intrested what was in that chest =]
if you already got the legendary weapon then whats in the chest =O

Same weapon and there lies the problem, just sell your Axe (cant remember the name but the one you won from the Crucible)... basically it just goes that you already have one in your inventory.. confuses the game and it teleports you as your opening the chest in a way.. happened to me for ages (kept going through about 10 times getting stuck each time till I figured it out).

i know why you get the same weapon, becuase the person your playing with (couch co-op or external co-op) might not have that weapon and getting 8 perfect rounds will make it spawn again and f*** up your game and make it go all "get me out of here" style

It's happened to me. I had to quit the game. No way to teleport out. Very frustrating. I lost the Crucible time and had to do it again. Sorry.

Happens to me, too, every time. Can't even pause, it just gives me the "Scene Paused" box. Though, I never did think to sell The Chopper, as Digital 0sm0sis suggested. Guess that's something to try if I ever feel like doing the Crucible again.

And it doesn't have anything to do with Co-op.

I've had a character frozen from this glitch since I got the game and no one was able to help until I just found this thread; who woulda thought I just needed to use my spade.

Just use your spade....that happened 2 me to...exactly like u said .....after the crucible ..... but u just have u use your spade and voila ....it fixed mine hope it helps

Can I give you an internet-hug sir? At first it didn't get me un-stuck but then I teleported around and eventually in Fairfax Gardens I was able to use the spade and get un-stuck. Thanks for saving my 1000s of dollars in damages from blind rage.

OK! this just happened to my friend when we were in co-op. he just fixed it. His char was stuck in scene mode (we guess). He restarted his xbox 360 and teleported from town to town. FINALLY he went to a town where he killed people. Then the guard came up and said he had to pay the fine (blah blah blah) so he did pay the fine and BOOM unfrozen! So if you can, try that. Also I read that digging could help also. GOOD LUCK!
