The Funtastic World of Skin Conditions!

Re: The Funtastic World of Skin Conditions!

hmm... thanks Angel I tell her. Hopefully she'll listen, cause I know that she is sensitive about it even though she says she isn't.

Dandruff is horrible - people assume you don't wash enough or take pride in your appearance, but if you have it it's pretty hard to get rid of. I have it meself and find that tea tree products help enormously. Also making sure you really wash out any products (shampoo, conditioner, styling stuff) so that none is left - also if your friend washes her hair frequently, it might help to wash with just water inbetween regular hair washes so keep it super clean and avoid build up of products which can lead to dandruff.

If the cause is a scalp condition (and she doesn't want to see a doctor or dermatologist) then even going for something like a head massage every so often to increase circulation in the scalp could help - if she's sensitive about that sort of thing it's something people can buy for her as a present every once in a while without her even knowing the reason behind it. A lot more tactful than a box full of anti-dandruff shampoos ;)

Yeah, I got a dandruff problem, unfortunately. And Tsuyu, maybe you are allergic to you own sweat, if that is possible. Or would that show visible signs? I dunno, that is just odd.

Back to the dandruff. So stuff with that in it will help? I might try it soon. Jesus it gets annoying.

I suffer from the strangest thing: Whenever I get sweaty, my whole body starts to itch.

Its very annoying, since every attempt at working out ends with my not being able to stand the itch and giving up. I hate it, 'cause I'm getting pudgy and everyone thinks I'm lazy, not knowing the real reason I don't like exercise.

There are no visible symptoms or nothing (thankfully).

Sounds like you are alergic to your own sweat. That's believable, cause so am I. :)
