The Future of Fable (IV, V, VI...)

Re: The Future of Fable (IV, V, VI...)

That location change thing could be a bit hard, seeing as you go to war with Aurora (is that how you spell it?). Where else could you go? I still think a prequel would be really awesome.

Re: The Future of Fable (IV, V, VI...)

im liking the old kingdom idea but not the city one. thats not the fable style. they'd be taking a huge risk if they went that way with the game. but i gotta be honest...i'll still play it haha

Re: The Future of Fable (IV, V, VI...)

they should include the pridelands where you could go and get Simba as a pet or his daughter Kiara

Re: The Future of Fable (IV, V, VI...)

y'know what there needs to be? a steampunk Fable... airships, large cities, transatlantic flights to a new continent, awesome technology etc. and most importantly the rediscovering of the SANDGOOSE! =D

Re: The Future of Fable (IV, V, VI...)

okay so maybe not the Sandgoose lol but i still like the steampunk setting idea. there'd still be magic and monsters but it'd be very scarce. since the land of Albion would be moving into a new era of science and technology everyone has forgotten or moved on, the next generation is too world weary to care about things like magic and monsters. but some still have inklings for the old stories and wonders of the old age. monsters like Hobbes and Balverines would be nothing more than urban legends. they'd mainly be settled in the more remote regions of the world and countrysides. you should be able to have your own airship if not your own then maybe a port town where you can fly to a certain area and if there would be a new continent there'd be transatlantic flights. i love steampunk~

WTF is wit all teh bumpin, stop already, it's old, no eno cares about this thread anymore!

what the heck is your problem? i was only sharing my idea. if you don't care so much why did you come to the thread in the first place? besides i'm new here and usually in forums it's good to search for a topic that's already been posted before making a new one that has the same topic or whatever, that's what i've been taught atleast at other forums.

that sounds all too similar to star wars. if you think about it, jedi are very hero bloodline-like.
jedi academy - heroes guild
force lightning - lightning
jack of blades - senator palpatine
...
see where i'm going with this?

wait what? no... i don't actually... what does my post have anything to do with what you're saying? lol and Jack of Blades as Senator Palpatine??? he's long dead... D= besides steampunk has nothing to do with Star Wars... i'm talking about for a later Fable game. like IV, V, VI... etc.

Re: The Future of Fable (IV, V, VI...)

I'd like an alternate timeline, and I'll explain why.

I hate Fable 2's setting.

I don't want Fable to take progression like the real world, because if I want the real world, I'll go outside. I want more of what Fable: TLC had, because I loved the setting of Fable 1, it's one of the things that made it such a great game for me.

But, knowing Peter Molynooooooo (can't spell it correctly) Fable 4 will be about fighting martians in space.

This. Regardless of what is provided, I will still play it.

Re: The Future of Fable (IV, V, VI...)

I believe one of my first threads here was regarding a Steampunk Fable.

I want it to stop going on until 1910 era, or thereabouts. Beyond that, if there are any games, they should be set in the Old Kingdom.

okay, think about it. battles in space, futuristic cities, people who fight using (magic/the force).
if fable went into the future like you described, it would be a copy+paste of star wars.
i guarantee it.

Re: The Future of Fable (IV, V, VI...)

^ True. Some people in Star Wars even dress like people from Fable as it is.

Bad examples, but you get my drift.

Re: The Future of Fable (IV, V, VI...)

I think Cheez is anti-futuristic, not anti-Steampunk. Steampunk would be great, futuristic would be, as already said, Star Wars.
