My partner in crime and I have been searching for AGES and finally found what seems to be the right apartment to move into.

It's two bedroom, two bath with a spacious room and kitchen.

Its 790 a month between the two of us and you have to have proof of wage 2.5X the rent just to be approved. There is a 200$ deposit redeemable after contract fufillment and 500$ off your first month. Comes with its own dryer and washer aswell if you have ever had to use some form of laundromat you know...YOU KNOWWWWW

Its 15 minutes from downtown where we do our dirty work i.e slaving for a soulless corporation. The place is in a nice suburbia area called Sky Vista.

We're lucky enough to live in a part of the country no man would set foot in and that crippled with the economy makes for some damn easy living if you can find the work.

Pretty much in the past month I have reshaped my entire life dynamic all I'm worried about now is an assassin after me for my piradical ways.:wesuck:

So what does Ego think and also I'd like to hear from any aged experianced home owner aswell to see if anything catches their grizzled eyes or if they have any knowledge or advice.

Yeah now cost of living is going up, and wages across the board are going down. bleh

There are much cheaper places we were looking at but they suck tremendously and since we can afford it, hey why not go first class.

I just want to be self reliant, basically do whatever I please without anyone getting in my way or having to go through someone else to get what I want.

I'm 22 and just now starting college....

OH GOD I WON'T MOVE OUT UNTIL I'M AT LEAST 25! ;-;

25 is fine in my opinion, 30 is when you should be worried.

I just feel like cutting the ambilical cord yknow. I wanna fly.

Just make sure you keep an eye on all of your monthly outgoings and make sure you leave enough to cover all of the bills. Its not until you move out you truly find out just how many silly little bills you overlook when first considering moving out.

Bills are indeed silly. Only true grown-ups pay them - which is why I don't and Steve does. I'd say only spend what is necessary until you are sure of how much is going in and out each month - then you can upgrade/add-on the nice extras. I don't know how things work over there but here a lot of utility companies offer a payment scheme for their services such as weekly rather than quarterly bills or pay-as-you-go systems rather than estimated monthly bills. If money ever gets tight and these sorts of options exist where you are then I'd recommend them. Also, have some sort of contingency plan in place just in case one of you gets a wage cut or loses their job or something like that - unlikely but could happen and the last thing you want or need is to not be able to afford to live.

Also, don't impregnate anyone any time soon - that sort of thing can get VERY expensive...

I take it you're still an immature child and side with your own children in a kids/parents conflict and demand presents from Steve, because as far as you are concerned the father always has money to buy you anything.

It's like you can see into my very soul...

lol Family vs. father XD

Here's my plan, live in sackcloth and eat boiled socks for 3months and let my money stack, be able to pay first months rent, deposit, and bills with some back in savings. Continue at this pace until I am secure in my job and home and then start filling my world up with little entertainments.
