As you know I have 6 pets in my household, 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 rabbits and yeah they can drive me insane at times. The only one exempt from this is the rabbit outside who keeps himself to himself and makes no noise and is rather friendly. We have a rabbit in the lounge as one summer she started to get some bowel issues and it was sticking to her fur and you have to be careful of 'flystrike' where flies lay eggs in it on their fur and maggots form. Since then she has been indoors and shes quite a hand full sometimes. She doesnt like loud noises so if fireworks go off, wind is to loud, your up late watching TV etc she will stamp her feet and its rather loud often wakes us up in the night. Bonfire night with lots of fireworks going off caused her to go a little mental and she broke out of her cage and when we got back home she had chewed through my Xbox power cable, my Kinect cable and my TV cables. Also a pain when she kicks sawdust around over the carpet, we would put her back outside but she wasnt having any quality of life out there but the other rabbit likes his quiet.
I really like rabbits and have wanted one at one point, but those are the main reasons I don't have any rabbits in my house and probably never will. My older sister suffered from similar issues (especially the foot thumping), plus I don't know how my cats and the rabbit will react to one another.

Then theres the cats who get fur everywhere on sofas, carpet, tables, window ledges and cant leave food anywhere or they steal it. Due to lack of space in my kitchen our refrigerator is in the conservatory so if im making a sandwich I have to shut all the doors and check for cats before getting anything from the fridge. They sometimes play fight at night and meow to be let out in the early hours and if you dont pay attention they scratch at the door and pull at the carpet near the bedroom door. I get up for work around 5am and being woken up before that is a right pain in the ass because you rarely get back to sleep. If the dogs hear me get up to let the cats out they usually start too.
I've battled a good bit of their loose fur with brushing them often, but since they're usually not in the mood for it I have to get them at the right time. Both of mine play wrestling every single day, but at some point during the fun they break out into a fight and
that's when I have to step in and risk my own hands to end the conflict.
I've tried the method of separating them into different rooms of the house, but it's to no avail. They scratch at the doors, moew at them, ram into them, and as of last year have figured out how to open the doors successfully like some reincarnation of velociraptors. Leaving them in those tight carriers/cages at night for me, just doesn't feel fair to them, so I've refrained from doing it.
So, I've been out of ideas really.

Bottom line is I feel your pain, with our cats however I just throw them outside if they annoy me.
Wish I could do the same with mine, but this neighborhood just isn't safe enough and they're too curious for their own good. Too afraid they'll get abused, taken in, or ran over like I've seen happen to other cats that used to be in this neighborhood.
There was that time where i was using Xbox and he knocked it over by sniffing it, safe to say my Halo 3 disc broke. I was peeved.
Short Version: Dogs are just as bad.
Aye.
They've knocked my Xbox over several times, especially when they try to mark it up with their scent glands. Thankfully, it was turned off or didn't have a game playing all those times.
Yes my Lhasa Apso constantly ****es on everything he can to mark his territory. That and he's got too needy recently and barks whenever you leave him alone (which he never used to do.)
Glad I don't have that issue, both of my cats are neutered so they've never attempted to mark their territory in that fashion.
