I want to buy the new SimCity and when I did a check on System Requirements Lab, it gave me this:

So apparently, I can't run it on minimum settings although I've read that I would be able to run it but it would take a while to load, etc. I would like some help on this as I don't want to spend the money for it to then find out that I cannot run it at all. Can I actually run it or do I need to upgrade?

By the way, the same website also said I couldn't run The Sims 3 on minimum settings but I can, even though for The Sims 3 I didn't have the required CPU speed which is a different issue than for SimCity.

You're going to have frame rate issues.

And the particular Sim City game really isn't that great, imo.

How bad are we talking? So noticeable it's frustrating or something minute?

Origin ruins it. Had it been on Steam, perhaps I'd buy it. But no, they had to asinine and put it on Origin...

I suspect that if you turn the graphics quality down it will be passable, if a bit choppy. But it's not a particularly graphically intense game anyway.

Hmmm.. It might be worth picking up then. Thanks for your help Tyloric, I'm useless with this kind of stuff.
