Thor comes out July 1st next year, featuring Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, and Natalie Portman. The trailer looks rawrsome!

I just had to comment on this for obvious reasons.

<-----------

Anyway, I'm sure it's going to be great. I'm looking forward to it, since I saw the ending of Iron Man 2.

NATALIE PORTMAN AND VIKING GODS?! I am SOOO in.

I dunno. They better not slaughter The Mighty Thor just to whore him out on the big screen. Far too many comicbook hero movies have turned out that way...

Rawrsome??? ... That is officially my new absolutely favorite word. I will use it to describe everything that is awesome and epic and rawr-worthy. :D

it's getting a bit old...this whole superhero revival thing.
they should pick the good superheroes and make more movies of them rather then taking every one ever created out for a test drive.
if you wanna see a movie for thor, see this movie. if you wanna see a good movie for natalie portman, go see the black swan (seriously, it's INSANE).

coming to theaters in 2012, ANT MAN STARRING ZOMG BRAD PITT

Is it? I've wanted to see it.

I do also want to see Black Swan, it looks like it might hurt my head.

The reason for this is that they are setting up for the Avengers film, and are prepping that by doing the backstory films of each character - so they don't have to explain it in the Avengers film and can put in 2 hours of butt-kicking.

i'm aware. i worked in a movie theater when they had the first post-credit scene with samuel jackson as nick fury. my point is that i'm already bored with the idea and they've only released half of the movies before they combine them all into one.

Kind of scary that years from now, someone's going to think it'll be a great idea to make a live action Family Guy movie or live action South Park movie.

Then we'd be that older generation that thinks the youngins ruin good series.
