Toughest boss fights?

Pfft, any damn boss fight from Ninja Gaiden..

Not to mention the cheap end-boss of Dead or Alive 4.

When it comes to role playing games, the only toughest battle I can recall is Ozma from Final Fantasy 9.. I still have never beaten that thing. It used to be Ruby Weapon from FF7 until I had finally beaten it, but also later finding out a simple exploit to it.

You should try fighting Emerald Weapon. The guy was a B*TCH!

Actually - any combination has the same difficulty at the start of the game. You just need to select the right stones and focus on things properly. If you go with Hadvar, for example, you might have an easier time as a melee-combat focused class. I wouldn't let the early skill bonuses get to you - they aren't of much use anyway. (If not, they steal experience you could have earned by using those skills in the first place) Meanwhile as a Thief-based class you can exploit Faendal by becoming his friend, getting trained and then stealing the money you just gave him; both your pickpocket and archery will go insanely up.
Yeah, but against a boss like alduin, what use are low level spells and stealth? You have amassive disadvantage with a specialisation without weapon upgrades when compared to a savage Nord.
I have ha 3 legit lvl 81 characters and the hardest one was my high elf mage. My Nord and Redguard were far more simple in their early stages.

Ahh, definitely. I lost count of how many times that guy destroyed me and how many times I came so close only to be screwed by that silly timer. I had beaten it eventually actually... in one blow. I resorted to using Cait Sith's slot machine Limit Break striking a "Game Over" and just like that, it was finally over. Which I guess also makes him another Toughest Battle since I basically had to cheat to win. :P

I never thought about doing it like that! O.o I reckon i could have put 8 FF bosses in my top 10 really :D

He is fairly tough but he has got nothing on Azazel, Nancy or Jinpachi from Tekkens 5 and 6 :')

I haven't played any tekken since the ps2 versions.
God of war, Ares was horrible. I was ready to throw the controller into the tv.

I know! I was going to put him on but thought Zues was more of a challenge.
And Tekken's best game was 5, but 2 and 3 and Tag Team were so damn good xD

Mr. Dream in Punch Out!

I beat Bald Bull. I beat Soda Popskini.

But Mr. Dream, man, nobody ****s with him.

Jinpachi wasn't as much challenging as it is just grinding the fight over and over again until you got it all right. With some characters it was simply a matter of comboing some unblockable moves - that is, moves that the AI never blocked, like Corpse Thrust.

Really? What exactly do you have trouble with in that fight?
Everything. I just can't ever seem to hit him.

You have to understand - I struggle with opening game boxes on the best of days. To actually get as far as a boss of any sort is pretty much worthy of a celebration and week-long national holiday.

I suck.

Did you ask Jessica to help you with Ripper Roo?

Don't. The humiliation would be unbearable.

Actually, if Jake did it the humiliation would be unbearable. With Jessica it would just be insufferable.

Mind you, if Josh did it I'd have to kill myself due to shame. The boy chews on his own feet, for goodness sakes.

The first temple boss fight in Darksiders one.
