I got the x1s this morning, they are far worth £43. Although you have to do a bit of tampering with the Xbox 360 standard cable to get it to work with a HDMI, the results are very impressive.

As soon as I even went on the Xbox 360 Dashboard I could hear sounds that I had never heard before because of the quietness of the TV. As for Call of Duty, well it really immerses you in the action and you can hear everything from your own breathing to a footstep a long way away. It really makes it easy to determine where people are and distant gunshots are magnified and allow you to have a good idea of where they are coming from.

I'd highly recommend Turtle Beaches, even if it is just the x1s. You can get anything for the 360 up to x4s and they all work with a computer too I think. The x4s have built in Dolby surround sound and cost around £125 and I think it would be worth it, had I not been skint.

Well I played guitar hero with them and the sound difference is amazing, and for some reason the audio is slightly different. It sounds like live singing and the instruments all sound live. The bass was amazing too, but this sounds like advertising so I'll stop singing praises

I've really wanted one for awhile now. But I'm poor. Man, I wish I was one of those damn spoiled kids who gets everything they want. But nooo, I have to pay for most of my stuff. :lol:

Trust me, I'm not spoiled :lol: We had to sell 20 of our games. £800 retail, £97 trade in. But I think the headphones are worth the £43 or however much it is in dollars, although if you play with HDMI you need to be a handyman with a knife.

And too bad I heard about Turtle Beach mics AFTER I bought my Xbox Wireless mic. The thing is a piece of trash.

That was the only descriptive word I could think of when I was playing Guitar Hero with them on. Well, near-orgasmic, there weren't any accidents.

The x4s (£125) have Dolby surround sound built into them, that could be emotional :wub:

You can in fact only get them online, I posted a couple of links in the first post: 1 for the USA and 1 for the UK. And to answer your other question, all 3 at once.

Sweet. I actually just found the x1s on the Best Buy website, there $59 US. I am so getting them.
