Do we have to go into this discussion? Really?

Re: twilight!

Well, then, congratulations on derailing your own thread.

Re: twilight!

Haven't read the book, haven't watched the film. I did enjoy the Twilight music video performed by Paramore, though. ^_^

Sadly, that's not what this thread is about so I'll go ahead and make my exit now...

It may have 'pwned' but half the actors who were in it won't be returning.

Their words, not mine.

Re: twilight!

I never saw the movie, but I will say this -

"Twilight" was okay. I'm a guy, so I didn't exactly understand the teen-angst that Bella was going through.

Since Twilight was fine, I decided to move on to the next book - New Moon. However, 85% of this book was about the teen-angst, so I managed to skip the half the book to the ending, effectively reading only the beginning and the end.

So far, I haven't found myself wanting to read the third book.

Although I didn't exactly enjoy Twilight much, I can do nothing except vote that the book was better.

And GG Stephanie Meyer, your manuscript for book 5 was released. so i herd dat it wuz da same az twilite exsept frum edwurdz point uf veue? She's running out of ideas and is trying to squeeze any remaining juice from her cliché storyline.

Re: twilight!

lol... well that sucks... I got the teen angst thingy, but I do agree, there isnt any room in the romance genre for sequals, if you can pull off the same storyline in 4 books then thats pretty damn good... I will probably like the movie, but lets put it this way: Twilight isnt on my top ten list lol

I actually feel bad for Stephanie. Twilight was her first book and she had no idea that it would be as successful as it was.

She was unprepared for fame and it showed in her work; she tried to hard to please her fans.

Never try to please your fans; they'll come back for more anyway.

This girl in my English class was really into Twilight.

She told me "if it was real, it would be awesome."
