Who says the library has to be used for reading? The place could easily be turned into another workplace for all your dirty, poverty-stricken slaves. More money in your pocket.

Couldn't we just charge admission or have a fee in order to obtain a library card? Seems it would work itself out.

or have it so if you the library open, the people become more intelligent so they work more efficiently so they'll get more work done which would then in turn cover the cost of opening the library, that would be good. having a library card fee would be good i think as well.

For your future reference when a posted thread contains a link, it is within the realms of proper ettiquette to examine what it leads to. Once you view the video in its entirety you would understand we speak of the choice to re-open Brightwall Library once the player becomes a Monarch.

On a note not concerning the previous writing, I can not stand it when I develope a solution to an ingame problem and the game does not allow my solution to be used. A fee for library use lessens its financial burden upon the kingdom and if Lionhead does not allow a fee to be charged it is almost as if they want us to fail despite a simple alternative being available.

It didn't. If you can't view the videos let us know, someone can easily upload them in a different spot so that you CAN view them.
