I just saw a supercomputer with 15trillion bytes of memory play on jeopardy and of course win. This computer can actually somewhat understand language and form educated guesses on the best answer. It's and eyeball of the world and knew that the name of the tower in LOTR was Sauron. I wanna see what It can do with the internet hooked up.

The day that super computers can outmatch the human brain are quickly approaching.

Be afraid.

Can't wait till I can augment my brain with computers and think thousands of times faster than I can now.

Is gon b gr8.

yo WATSON i'm real happy for you and i'ma let you finish but the rat brain cell computer is the best supercomputer of all time.

OF ALL TIME

We're all f**king doomed.

EDIT: So does this really mean the computers will get so smart they will start questioning why they should take orders from Humans?

If so, we just shouldn't make any with arms.

how about a speaker system that can only tell jokes?

We are still so far away from concious computing I'm not saying it won't happen but skynet or I ROBOT no way.

But they might find loopholes.

e.g "Knock knock"

"Who's there"

"Ivor"

"Ivor who?"

"Ivor big gun that I'm going to shoot you in the f**king face with unless you surrender yourself and all planet Earths precious minerals to the greater Robotic Empire"

Oh shi-

Try to imagine this guy with human like intelligence.
Aaah, those were the days. Back when I wanted to kick the sh*t out of my computer, or rather that little prick.

Not unless we program them to.
