I'm quite likeable when we get to know each other. In fact, I have ****ed off almost everyone who I consider a friend on here.

I'm sorry if this annoys anyone, but what are the things we should be looking out for to catch and identify spammers as i would like to be of help to a site that does so much for me and so many others.

Basically there are a number of indicators - with the new upgrades to the forum we have little spam now, at least that which is visible to members, but if you look at the "who's online?" list you can see all the people currently looking at the site and those with names like buyviagra or looky!porn are usually giveaways...or their name may be a bunch of letters which make no sense. If in doubt, just click on the name, check the profile and they'll have either an image, link or some other information indicating they are selling medication or promoting porn.

Then you just alert the staff either via PM, profile message or the report post function and we can deal with it.

What is the point in spam anyways? It's just a waste of time to spam a forum. If someone is that ignorant and has that much time, they might as well jump into a meat grinder. 'Twould make the world a better place for all.

I know this is a far fetched idea but still a good one.

You could create a group of spam reporters, instead of regular members because of A. reporters could be spammers, B. people could abuse the idea and ruin other people's reps.
