Weather

Hi I was just wondering what is the weather like in your town/city. For me it is currently boiling hot, reaching up to 45, luckily it is not humid. Alot of the trains are down, something like 2,500. Since the rails expanding all going wonky. So our tram (sorry most countries don't have these) tickets are completely free, meaning they are really packed 24/7, well more like 15/7. And trams are amazing they are smaller than 1 caridge of a train yet they fit the same amount. I have never seen it so packed. Alot of the schools are shut down, or students are leaving early, causing trams to be filled with student and adults (whom have lunch brake) filling up the train. It's never been this hot in Melbourne since 100 years. And we are not mainland, wow now that gets so hot up there, i've been to Mildura a few time they get 40 alot, but they're so used to it.

Anyway how is the weather going in your place

Re: Weather

Sydney at the moment is pretty decent (compared to down where you are), I think its only been around 30-35* celcius lately.. perfect beach weather.

Re: Weather

A couple of degrees below zero degrees Celsius and everything is coated with a thin layer of frost.

'tis a good day to be a viking.

Re: Weather

Yeh major powerouts, another 850 trains got canceled, and the Crown Casino (basically the only thing in the city, apart from the desperate for attetion federation square) had a major powerout. And on the news all these people were complaining of loosing money in the poker machines, and wining, and poor Crown, it will take ages to work out who had what amount of money. They deserve it i reckon, it teaches them right, our prime Minister gives out free money to these people for the recesion, and then on the news it reports, that the casino's are earning millions, from this free money our prime minister gave out. I feel sorry for the tennis, now thats started up every has forgotten the cricket.
