Turn Coat, no? I'm listening to the audiobook right now. Jum Butcher is awesome. Incredibly corny, and his sex scenes are worse than anyone I can think of except maybe Harry Turtledove, but he's still awesome.

Codex Alera is pretty damn awesome, too, and I didn't expect it to be.
