Hey! I know where you are! Down by the Jefferson Memorial on the Tidal Basin, right? Yeah, we drove past there a lot for a while, on the way to Georgetown University Hospital. It's pretty cool, but it can get crowded as hell when the cherry trees are blooming. They also have some weird traffic patterns-- roads and stuff closed down for no apparent reason at random times.

You were in DC (I.E. Maryland with delusions of grandeur and a higher handgun-to-rifle ratio) on vacation, I take it? You do the whole Mall-muesums-monuments thing?

(EDIT: Actually, I just realized that you (assuming you're the older one [grin]) look unnervingly similar to a guy I know/knew, who is indeed named Brian, like your profile says you are. Or at least familiar, I could have just thought of that guy because I saw the name. You don't live in MD, do you?)

Yeah, pretty much, it was pretty cool, although the security got annoying after awhile. Every building had metal detectors, conveyor belts, and security cameras :hmm:

EDIT: No, I live in Texas :P

[Snicker] Yeah, security is fun. It's also kind of amusing when it's something stupid, like, say the Muesum of Natural history. What, is someone going to shoot up the stuffed animals?

Wow I remember when this thread was first made. Man I still haven't posted a pic yet. Well as soon as I decide on what digital camera I wanna invest in I'll post one. :)
