If your using nothing but Skill, the Red Dragon will get you the best bang for your buck hands down. For straight Strength, the Daichi does the most damage - period.

If you alternate between Skill and Will/Strength, modding your own Master Turret Rifle w/ Devastation and Piercing Agony augments would be the best gun numbers wise (paired with the Daichi for melee).

It's possible without the unimproved Shooting Ranged. My brother had about 5 points off.

I personally HATE turret weapons. They may have good damage per shot, but the reload times just makes them a waste. They are essentially just watered down revolvers.

If you are referring to the one where you must shoot the villagers, my top score is somewhere just below 200 I believe.

And my best at the shooting range is 283 at the moment (shooting bandits).

It'd be much simpler to use a flintlock pistol and shoot everyones heads of in under 10 seconds. And not to mention more fun.

Pressing one button instead of another to swing a sword instead of shoot is not any more complicated then waking up in the morning.

Sword swings can be, and often are, blocked. A gunshot is too fast and too powerful to be blocked, and will finish an enemy off in one hit with a skilled headshot. Sword strikes take too long to kill your opponent. Most of my characters use guns and magic, and can completely obliterate any sword-wielding fool.

You've all got this wrong, your debate is over speed, and strength. Which Master weapon combines both of these, and is equally balanced?? The Master Sword... duh. Take the Devastation augment, and either( depending on needs) the Lucky Charm augment or the Ghoul augment, and you'll have the best weapon in the game.

The Katana and Long-sword are pretty much evenly matched. The Katana has speed and less power, the Long-sword has power and less speed.

Not always. And sometimes either work the same way. It mostly depends on personal preference.
