Game: CoD4

Opinon: best FPS out there. I'm usually pretty average and my score in team games is in the middle. Oddly though, I've been playing it a lot and my performance seems to be going down. I'm almost always the bottom score with more deaths than kills. :( I think I'm just getting lazy at it.

So Im taking a break form that and Playing Fallout 3. I decided to make a Jason character, with the unique hocky mask and Vault 77 jumpsuit. He uses blade melee weapons (knife, combat knife, sword) and kills everyone he sees. Jackassery in that game is fun. :D

Liking your uniqueness. Nice.

Re: What R U Playing A.T.M?

Playing: Ninja Gaiden 2
Platform: Xbox 360
Opinion: my favorite hack 'n' slasher to date. rather than being beatable with all-out attack, it's steep difficulty curve forces you to master that art of blocking and dodging while attacking at the same time. plus the fact that when you get good, you feel unstoppable.
Also unlike other games of the genre such as God of War, every weapon is useful in some way. The main sword is a good all around weapon, while others sacrifice to gain in other attributes such as the Eclipse Scythe which is enormous and slow with insane damage...versus the Vigorian Flail which is insane attack speed and decent damage but little to no effect on the larger enemies.

Want to be Playing: I wish borderlands was out, thats what i'm looking forward to. Right now though i'm in my happy place dismembering ninjas and fiends in every way imaginable. why change a good thing?

Re: What R U Playing A.T.M?

Playing: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time
Platform: Nintendo DS
Opinion: Plays very much like past FFCC titles, only the system has been greatly refined. The game has its fair share of bugs, however. Nothing too extravagant, but sometimes they can be quite annoying if they decide to strike at a bad time.

One of the main fixes that will catch the eye of people who have played Ring of Fates is that you can set your parties AI percharacter. Meaning that you allies aren't completely useless as they were in RoF.

The story is well thought out, as the plot usually is in the franchise. A fun tidbit is that later in the game you can fight the bosses from FFCC: Ring of Fates , a choice I enjoyed having.

The quests are a bit... annoying. I don't really enjoy them, so I just stick to the story. Currently, I am playing on hard mode, having already completed normal. Afterwards, very hard will be unlocked.

Online play was a nice touch, though it can be laggy.

The game has a very nice sense of humor, and may point really did make me laugh out loud. (Sherlotta is a hoot or a character).

The ability to completely customize you party was another nice touch, as well as being able to persuade mercanaries to join your party. You can have a party of all Clavats (fighters) or even a party of all Yukes (spellcasters). It's entirely up to you.

The crystal system is interesting, being able to customize the bonuses that are on your armor was an ability I appreciated having. As well as armor leveling up with you (to a point) so you can keep it longer. And there are dozens of armors and weapons. Really, the choices are staggering.

Overall, a very well thought out RPG; I suggest looking into it if you own a DS.

Re: What R U Playing A.T.M?

Playing: World of Warcraft
Platform: Windows XP
Opinion: I've been meaning to start playing WoW for a while now, but I never managed to get around to it. Luckily, I was able to start playing a few weeks ago, and now I'm madly in love with it.

As of now, my main goal is to level my Draenei Mage. Hopefully, I can get her as close to 80 as possible before Cataclysm is released.

If anyone wants to party up sometime, hop on Auchindoun and look for Ashalaani. I'm still questing around the Draenei noob area, so you may bump into me if you're near there.

This, except I seem to be good with most of the characters and not just Jecht.

I picked Cloud as my main. I tried not to since that's what all the typical FF7 Fan Boys would do but the fighting stylsuits me, and I just find his voice so darn cool. (Probably because I watched Final Fantasy: Advent Children Complete on Blu Ray a couple weeks ago - greatest thing to see for FF Fan Boys)

Other Characters I like are: Jecht, Warrior of Light, Firion, Cecil and Zidane. (Tidus was my Favourite Main Character in their individual series, but they sort of made him annoying in this game and he isn't very playable)

Re: What R U Playing A.T.M?

Playing: Oblivion
Platform: 360
Opinion: I'm starting to run out of major things to do.. But i'm focusing on levelling atm. It's awesome.

Playing: Fallout 3
Platform: 360
Opinion: Not as big as Oblivion, but still a lot of fun. I'm finishing off a few things and doing the rest of Broken Steel. Vault Boy <3

Playing: GTA IV
Platform: 360
Opinion: I didn't like it at first but once you get more into the story and start unlocking new weapons, etc.. It's a lot of fun.

Playing: Sonic Unleashed
Platform: Xbox 360
Opinion: Yay Sega made a good sonic game after a long time.

Playing: Final Fantasy Dissidia [JP]
Platform: PSP
Opinion: Greatest PSP Fightingish game!

I played the Dissidia demo, god that game is so ****ing cool. But Cloud of Darkness makes me mad as hell. I'm probably going to play as Kuja a lot, if I ever get a PsP.

I can't wait for the new WoW expansion too. Then I'll start playing again. Wrath really disappoined me. TBH Burning Crusade and Vanilla were the golden days. Cataclysm looks really cool though. I'm definatly gonna play Worgen.

If his style suits you, use him. My friends made fun of me for using Zhang He in DW but he's the best to play as. I thought Tidus was pretty good in it, as long as you attack after the enemy does.

Kefka's pretty fun to use aswell.
