Rocked: Got my SAT* scores back! Got the math score I needed, did better on the reading, kinda ****ed the writing, but still good. My chances to get into the Coast Guard Academy just increased.

Sucked: Mom still trying to monopolize the TV.

*Note for Brits, Aussies, Swedes, and other alien lifeforms: SATs are, I believe, vaguely analogous to the Brit... GCSEs, or whatever. A standardized test usually taken in your junior or senior year of high school and used in applications for colleges and scholarships and such. I retook it to apply to the CGA, even though I'm already at the University of Maryland, because my initial scores weren't good enough for the academy. Now they are.

Rocked: Going to lie to Centrelink (social security) in order to get free money.

Sucked: Centrelink make it extremely hard to do anything at all, with all their red tape and security. I can't even register online at the moment because I don't have all the information.

Rocked: Made a nice tidy profit on ME2 and Bioshock 2 - now to sell the old Elite for parts :D

Sucked: Still haven't quite shaken off this cold and it's half term next week so I have to find ways of entertaining both kids instead of just one. Rubbish...

Rocked: Love the Heavy Rain demo, day 1 purchase for me.

Sucked: :( Mother's in the hospital after having a pancreatic attack. So I've dropped everything to go spend time with her. Only here now for the pets and checking up on some things, then I have to head back out.

Completed Mass Effect 2 and just a couple of achievements left and i can purchase Bioshock 2 soon. Also got a Limo and a restaurant booked for Saturday night, look on my girlfriends face should be worth it. :lol:

Rocked: Cousin's having her third kid, got to hang out with her first two for a bit today in the waiting room and such.

Sucked: ****ed up coming home and went down the wrong side of the Beltway. Took me so long to NOTICE that I took the wrong side (talking to my sisteR) that it was easier just to continue that way. Went all the way around DC.

Sorry, Gikoku. Saying "that sucks" is inadequate and crude, but what else can you say? Hope she gets better.

I appreciate it guys, she's doing okay now. The doctors misdiagnosed her at Richmond Hospital, and got her transferred to Kaiser Observation where she was correctly diagnosed as just having a pretty bad case of gastritis and some stomach cramping. So she'll be going home in an hour now, my father said he'll pick her up.

Just glad I can rest easy now knowing she's okay. :lol:

Indeed, reminds me of the time my grandfather was misdiagnosed for cancer, and had to undergo cancer treatment for weeks, until they found out the 'cancer' was actually just scar tissue.

Sucked: All my guitars need new strings, and my Strat needs to be set up, and I'm 100% broke.

Sucked: CGA doesn't have the forms I mailed off two weeks ago, and I DON'T KNOW WHY. Is it the weather? Did they lose them? Did the post office lose them? Did a gremlin eat them? **** ME WHY DID I WAIT TILL THE DEADLINE.

Rocked: Um... snow? Once-in-a-lifetime pair of blizzards, to be exact.

Sucked: Didn't win AC/DC tickets. The last tickets for their three Melbourne shows. I'm so upset.

Sucked: Had to listen to Eddie McGuire's crappy breakfast show in order to try to win them. That guy is such an arrogant droded.

Rocked: At least I still have my personality.

Sucked: Beat Mass Effect. Too long until Mass Effect 3. Have to go back to school today. Everyone else is off for President's Day or some ****.

Rocked: Academy has all my paperwork! Just need to get my medical stuff wrapped up.

Sucked: obscene amounts of homework due tomorrow. It's 10:40 and I haven't even started.

Rocked: I've worked out a way to pay my TAFE fees, so now I can go to school!

Sucked: Don't have a timetable yet or anything like that.
