Time for a revival

  • Its a day closer to the weekend
  • The Steam Deck
  • Some really good games coming this year (pending any last min delays)
Sucked
  • One of my cats died yesterday, my wife has had her since she was 16 (the cat was almost 19). The kids are devastated.
  • Everything is so expensive
  • Seeing all the layoffs across the gaming industry

  • 70% Complete on Spider-man thanks to the extra gaming time my Steam Deck has given me.
  • Base Builder Fest sale on steam until Jan 30th and im a big fan of base building.
  • Purchased 2 new games from a franchise I hadnt heard of before the sale.
  • Some really good looking games coming this year.
  • Had lots of inspiration for posts and conversation topics lately.
Sucked
  • All of the redundancies in the tech and gaming sector lately.
  • My shower has broken randomly.
  • Severe lack of cash at moment with cost of living being so effected by the economy.
  • A lot of different family members health has been bad lately with multiple hospital and doctors visits.

  • Found the expansion for Rollercoaster tycoon (win98) at the thrift store, Game I'm currently playing.
  • Decided to start streaming on twitch soon
  • Got back into cosplaying
  • Cleaned and saged my whole apartment
  • Happy with my 32GB ram
  • Making AMVs again
Sucked
  • STILL waiting for the insurance payout for our car that was stolen in September.
  • It's was 2 degrees outside yesterday.
  • Stuffs super expensive
  • Tired all the time.
  • Still waiting for TeraNil to release.

  • 87% Complete on Spiderman
  • Came across some really cool looking games lately
  • Managed to mostly fix my broken shower (one more cheap part to swap out)
  • Sons of The Forest coming next month (fingers crossed its good)
  • Got a plan in place for some house renovations that are long overdue
  • My daughters 7th birthday next week
  • Got a date night with my wife planned minus the kids on Friday for the first time in 6 years
Sucked
  • Severe lack of cash
  • Father in Laws health has taken another turn for the worse
  • Havent had much time to relax in the last few weeks and been really busy outside of work
  • Even more redundancies across the gaming and tech sector lately

  • Cyberpunk 2.1 update has launched so shall hopefully get back into the game soon.
  • Managed to make some progress on a show ive been meaning to watch for years.
  • Got a bonus at work this week.

  • Bonus was immediately swallowed by bills.
  • No Money.
  • No gaming time for ages.
  • Christmas shopping.

  • 15 Year anniversary of being with my now wife today.
  • Loads of good games on the way.
  • Made even more progress on backlog of shows.
  • My birthday this week.
  • One of my Daughters 8th birthday yesterday.

  • Getting older.
  • Not much time for gaming lately.
  • Father in law back in hospital for what seems like the 1000th time.
  • Money gets tighter by the week.

  • Pay rise and Bonus at work.
  • Ghost of Tsushima coming to PC.
  • Command & Conquer Ultimate Collection launching on Steam and works on Steam Deck.
  • Next week off work.
Sucked
  • Bill week the same week im off work.
  • Still 7 weeks until launch of Ghost of Tsushima on PC and hopefully its well optimised and works on Steam Deck.
  • Father in Law still in bad way in hospital.
  • Lack of sleep lately.

  • 30 hours into Ghost of Tsushima and no end in sight currently and still really enjoying it.
  • Kids clubs end next week so no more taxi service for me 5 days a week.
  • Saw some friends at the weekend for first time in a very long time.
  • Got some bargains in Steam Sale.

  • Father in law passed away a couple of weeks ago.
  • Summer weather sucks so far.
  • Car needs another job doing on it.

  • GoT not available in Estonia due to no PSN and after the recent Helldivers 2 drama all non-PSN regions have been blocked.

Silly move by Sony to force the PSN login onto their PC titles, should be optional as there are still so many regions that do not have access to it. Even worse when it could have been avoided like in Ghost of Tsushima with the multiplayer portion being a completely separate mode.

  • Rolled credits on Ghost of Tsushima, superb game and it has jumped into my top 10 favourite games of all time list. Still got some things to finish on it but I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
  • Weather has taken a turn for the better.
Sucked
  • Good friend of mine died suddenly last week.
  • School holidays are expensive.
  • Still have a tap leak in my garden and cant afford to fix it yet.

Paying someone to inspect my 1940-era house for lead because I am having a baby when I could just steal an x-ray fluorescence gun and build my own custom calibration to do the same thing for cheap.
