Jessica has inherited some money but because we have no evidence of her paternity, I have to provide a sworn affidavit to confirm who her father was and that she is now entitled to the inheritance that would have gone to him if he were still alive. It's all very tedious and stupid. And unconnected to the first part.

I have had a gazillion driving lessons but have only had enough cash to take my test once which I promptly failed for nudging a kerb (which nowadays would not count as a major fault). Long story short - I can drive but I can't pass my test. They are two very different things which is stupid. I drove illegally for about a year without any problems but get me in a test situation and I go to pieces and make dumb mistakes.

We don't have a car and Steve doesn't drive either because he doesn't see the necessity of it, which is fine up to a point but I would love the freedom and independence of being able to drive and take the kids out somewhere further afield than the centre of town.

It wasnt :lol: she ended up falling asleep watching Braveheart. Though in her defence she had been out partying all night Friday and had an hour sleep.

Have you made sure there are no marks or fingerprints on it? You didnt accidently knock the console while it was on did you? Seemed to be working fine when you were playing it the other day.

Have you made sure there are no marks or fingerprints on it? You didnt accidently knock the console while it was on did you? Seemed to be working fine when you were playing it the other day.

There are some light scratches on it, but the scratches were there before when it was working perfectly, plus.. it's now starting to happen with all of my games. In order to work around it, I have to close & eject multiple times until it finally reads the disc as a 360 game. But then if I turn it off and then back on, or if I return to the dashboard the disc then becomes unreadable and I have to repeat the Eject & Close method.

Yep, it's playing up just like my old fat PS2 did. I'll just get it replaced, but only after I'm done with FF13.
