Saw me some polar bears yesterday and even though I know they would instantly rip my head off, I really wanted to squidge one

Sucked:

Other people drama that somehow becomes my drama and I don't have the mental capacity for that level of stress at the frequency it is happening. But, on the plus side, it isn't my drama. So there's that.

• Kids are back at school.
• Managed to work my way through some games and TV shows lately.
• Managed to fix mains water pipe that has been leaking for around a year.

Sucked

• Winter is coming.
• Everything is so expensive.
• Weekends are so busy.

• Been getting back into Skyrim again lately like its 2011
• Been making way through loads of shows/movies on streaming services
• Steamdeck is still going strong and allowing me to play much more often
• Age of Mythology getting new DLC

Sucked

• Winter is coming
• Kingmakers was delayed
• Xbox Game Pass has increased in price dramatically
• Everything costs so much these days

Rocked:

• York was awesome, trains were totally fine in the end and it was a good few days away
• Got to see my daughter today (it's been about 2 months since we last met up)
• Getting organised for my trip to Cyprus next year
• Finally getting colder, darker and more wintry (sorry @Dark Drakan but it's my favourite season )

Sucked:

• After York, I'm kinda poor now
• My eldest niece kindly gave me whatever strain of covid is currently doing the rounds right before I left so I was proper ill the entire trip
• Been so sick the past two weeks, I've had a hospital bag packed just in case
• Nothing but doctor appointments on the horizon and my doctors surgery is a big pile of garbage that is trying to kill me
