whats ure favourite game companies?

Well i want to know whats ure top 5 or 10 game companies of the millenium (i have no interest in the epic days of the 1900s lol) also name there best game. Not judged by commercial fame or anything like that but by personal preference

10. Koei- Dynasty Warriors series
9. Free Radical- Timesplitters series
8.Relic- Dawn of War 1 series not 2
7.Blizzard- Warcraft and world of warcraft
6.Valve- Half life series and all modifications
5.Lionhead Studios- Fable series
4.Epic Games- Gears of War and unreal tournament
3.Creative Assemble- Total War series
2.Ensemble Studios r.i.p- Age of empires
1.Bioware- All games

i would have put nintendo but i have not played there recent games due it being exclusive to wii

1. Westwood (Now deceased) - C&C and Dune games.
2. Valve - All except L4D2
3. Blizzard - Starcraft, Diablo and Warcraft series.
4. Bungie - Marathon and Halos

One of my favourites is the now-dead Troika Games. The game Arcanum is one of my top three RPGs of all time. It is a shame they went belly-up.

I quite enjoyed the second Deus Ex, I`m planning on returning to it as I only played a little.
And even though Ion Storm made a good mark in the history of gaming with Deus Ex, they left another, bad one, with Daikatana, which is considered by many to be "one of the major commercial failures of the computer game industry. "

Deus ex 2, for me, was the biggest example of what happens to high-profile game designers - it's happened to Bungie with the ****ty-copy-and-paste game called Halo. Deus Ex is still my favourite game, Deus Ex 2 is probably the worst. Here's hope that DS3 will be good.

Yeah well I have to disagree on that. If we were talking about NFS, I would completely agree, but not with Deus Ex 2.
I mean it was fairly different; at least I remember it was.
I don`t want to turn this into a debate, because I didn`t play DE2 much.
But I`m still going to disagree :lol:

Capcom - for the Resident Evil, Devil May Cry and Dino Crisis games
Team Silent / Double Helix - for the Silent Hill games
Epic Games - for the Gears of War games
Lionhead Studios = for the Fable games

To be honest there isn't a whole lot of games' series that really engage my interest any more. I've always been a big fan of Resident Evil and Silent Hill, though. They can't really do wrong in my eyes - even the utterly crap games.

I can tell you my least favourite: EA. They've got these really good games, which are ruined greed and trying to get as much bang for their buck as possible. This is particularly obvious with the Sims series. They obviously cut content out, just so they can sell it to you for an added fee. Absolutely ****s me. Which is why I don't "buy" EA games anymore.

Apart from that, I don't really have a favourite. I guess Firaxis, Ubisoft, and Lionhead are good, but I'm really just naming the makers of my favourite games there. I wouldn't call them great (or poor) companies, they've just got some great games.
