Over the course of like a day everyone wants Puny Carrots? Do they server a purpose in a quest or just for fun?

if youre a good guy all your shops are like 5*'s and dont sell crap food, and to get one of the idems in the shop at knothole island you need 2 of them

To get puny carrots if you're good just keep sleeping for seven days and don't trade at all with one village. after a while og back there and their economy should be low.
