Just trying to get to know everybody.

I work at Burchfield Truck Sales - Towing - Budget Rental

I'm a mechanic and I maintain a fleet of Budget Rental trucks. I've also been known to sweep the floor from time to time. Picture of a truck in my bay at the shop:

I'm an unemployed journalism major. Most of my work so far has only been low-level retail-type stuff. I've worked at 2 privately owned hardware stores, GameStop, and as a cook at a deli.

Currently half looking for more low-level-type stuff, but school's been keeping me so busy that I'm not looking as hard as I could be. I'd either be calling out of work too often to be a good employee or my grades would slip. Every now and then I make a spare dollar doing some website maintenance and graphic design, but it's not a common thing. Either way, I'm not a professional nor do I insist on being paid as a professional so the money isn't terrific.

I hang around council estates and rob anything that isn't nailed down, and I wear trackies and tell people to calm down while I myself am not, I think they have a word for that.

Scouser or something?

I work at Best Buy in the gaming, movies, and music departments.

I am told to say my job is the greatest in the world, and I fool myself into believing this by repeating "I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready." on my way to work. Truly, I do have the greatest job in the world.

Well, my job isn't exactly the most "fun" job in the world. Having a guy beside me, balancing a transmission on a floor jack, while I wrestle it into place can make for one hell of a long ass day.

Honestly? I do sweet cluck all.

On paper, I'm a mother of 3, wife of one, company director of a charity for which I don't get paid, trustee for the same charity for which I don't get paid (because trustees can't be paid by law), occasionally throw something together vaguely resembling an article/blog post about something to do with the gaming world for greyviper.com and sometimes I remember to keep the house tidy.

But in reality, I do nothing. Soooooo much nothing.

Ok guys I lied. You know the carriage shop near in Oakfield, near the exit to Rookridge? I work there... I maintain the fleet of Fudge-it Rental carriages.
