which fable is better.........

Which fable do you think is better?????? Me personally i feel that Fable is better then Fable 2 yeah Fable 2 is revolutionary with the game content. But fable has way more depth to the game.

huh well i think fable 2 is better because it is way more fun and the story is good except the end

Theres more to fable 2, Fable in all honesty is not the same kinda game. Its just different. Besides how many times does a pequel outdo the original? But this one was supposed to.

as far as crap to do fab2 but storyline FABLE, i hated that stewpid ending the whole thing sucked im so ****ed

Fable 2 easily. First fable wasn't bad but compared to fable 2 it sucks

the first fable was so much more epic though, you were a real hero with ultimate sword fighting the ultimate badass

Just like in almost every other fantasy. ;-)

Like it or not, Fable 2's story is rather unusual for a fantasy in many ways. Unfortunately I can't go into them in depth due to spoilers. At any rate, I actually write comic fantasy/sci-fi (i.e comedies, not comic books) so I suppose I appreciate some of the dark ironies a bit. Even if it robs you of a normal, proper final boss (assuming you've actually played to the end, as again, the first Spire visit is not the end of the game). I would say "Does everything have to have a final boss?" but people would inevitably call me stupid.

I miss the days when I could talk final bosses into killing themselves (that one scene in Mass Effect doesn't really, er, count for various reasons) less than a half hour into the game, though :-P

They are totally different feeling games. I love TLC, but the more I play Fable 2 the more I love it. Every time I think I have done everything, 5 more quest pop up. :unsure:

I prefer the original Fable, for reasons I've fielded before.

To me, Fable hooked me in, and I mean really hooked me in, up to the point where I'd suddenly realise that I've missed breakfast, lunch, dinner and the rest of the week to boot, it was such an immersive game, it really made me feel like a real part of the game, and I know it sounds stupid to say so, but Fable 2 didn't do that for me.

Sure, content wise, Fable 2 takes the prize, and then some, it offers plenty of chances to roleplay in-game, (Yes, I actually roleplay in Fable.) But, it didn't draw me in as much as Fable did, I can't put my finger on it either, it feels like something is missing, one element is lacking, and I have yet to discover what it is.

To me, Fable and Lost Chapters were masterpieces in their own right, Fable 2 was as well, but compared to The Lost Chapters and Fable, it's...Lacking something.

I can understand the feeling, but times have changed for the game stories these days. They are darker, but so was TFU, never finished it yet. Probably will later. Sometimes I think they need to be happier games. TLC made me smile, and wasn't overwhelming, to me. I don't want to work in a game, I miss the fishing. :( I was more a happy carefree hero in the first.
I love Fable 2, but it's totally different.
I've been trying to pin point what it is to.:unsure:

better graphics, better story, better interaction. i first feared that i wouldnt like the guns, but now i playe with them and i only use my clockwork rifle! :D

I prefer Fable 2.
Hands down.
Though, I haven't beaten it yet...
Theres more quests, more life, more reality, a sense of life when you're walking around earning rent and then realizing you forgot to pay off your gambling debt.
The dog is just pure genius, the world is quite big, not OMG OBLIVION big, but large enough to get the job done.(no pun intended....or was there?).
And more!

Fable was awesome, for its time.
I still like to play it from time to time, but I feel very limited on what I can do.
And other things I really dont think you need to hear me vent about.

In other words.
HOORAY FOR FABLE 2!
AND Hookers!

Fable 2 though the lack or armor really bums me out.
It's OK in the beginning but i really want to feel that epic "i rule the world suoer warrior thingey" feeling.

And sadly, no huge weapons ):.

I love fable 2, but the main story line is too easy, I bought like 8 resurrection phials and never needed one!

Well.. Fable TLC for the PC was = to fable 2 because, i feel that, the programs that allowed us to mod fable were pretty cool. and it is equal to fable cus of the addition of all these cool things.

Was so bored at end of fable 1...all i could do was grind, and kill.../bored. In fable 2...NO NO, jobs, hanging, sex, familys...economys to look after, so many buildings...more side quests :O And it still goes on!

OFF topic...................imagine a world where bethesda met lionhead and they combined making fable 3 bigger world then oblivion and then a new elder scroll just as big with a better story and then THE ELDER FABLE
