That's a shame. I was too but I sold off just about every console, game, controller and accessory I had just to get it...

Actually, I managed to get a PS3 (with a defective controller), Demon's Souls, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (also defective) and I completely paid off the pre-order for the Limited Edition of Fable III.

All in all, it was a pretty good day. I'm actually heading there later today or tomorrow to exchange the defective stuff for stuff that works.

i preordered mine before i even knew there was a collectors edition. but, when i found out i went and changed it to a LCE

yes cuz if buy it online it will take some time to get there...but if you order it in-store you can just pick it up on the day..

I preordered the collectors edition in july, I used my game card to shave about £15 off it, was 60 quid, I got it for 40

Some people got ripped of, cheap stores can still sell Fable III
I got mine at £49.99 So £50, It is the Limited edition because there is the normal version to!

Has anyone pre-ordered from Game.co.uk before? I've heard that sometimes the game arrived early and they try as hard as they can to get it there on the day... does the possibility of getting it early outweigh the risk? :ninja:

I was going to, but for all i know this game will suck. so i'm waiting for a review before i blow that many euros on a video game.

Yeah, stopped by the local GameStop awhile back, and pre-ordered my copy of the Fable 3 CE, along with Halo Reach 'Legendary' (which I have subsquently obtained),...along with... putting my fees down for Fallout New Vegas and Star Wars Force Unleashed 2 'special editions'. All in all, it's a good time to be a game/collector's edition whore.

I'll probably eventually get the Fable novel, sometime down the line. Not a huge priority atm.

Elisha I did indeed purchase it from game for forty quid.

Because I had a game card, which you put points for every game you buy, these points can be used as a discount on future purchases.

The game was 55 on game when I saw it, but I managed to get it for forty.
