Why legalising weed is bad! (stoners point of view)

Ok, I was recently discussing the topic with some friends and they were all like. "yeah dude legalising weed will be awesome, we can just smoke in public and stuff" Then i actualy thought to myself, the goverment will be in FULL control of weed distribution and manufacture, basicly splifffs will be sold like ciggarets, meaning they'd have LOTS of chemicals in them and lord knows what else, and very little weed, this alone would be a real kick in the nuts for weed smokers, but it would be cheeper then buying from a dealer. It would also be filtere making it crap, in short, if weed is legalised it will ruin for the stoners and we could have an uprising on our hands, factories would be raided ect ect. So legalising cannabis would be horrible. Thanks for reading my pointless rant, i just felt like telling it to somebody.

How so, i stated that if the goverment legalised it, they would control it and would therefore make spliffs like cigarrets, flitered and what not, making them crap.

People roll their own cigarettes, it is not uncommon. You can buy tobacco individually. As such your argument is invalid in this case.

If it is legalized, it would not neccessarily be changed. I would be able to legally grow my own, therefore, I could use it as I wished, no filters, no additives.
If the U. S. government regulated it, the price would skyrocket, federal and state taxes on tobacco would also apply to weed, those taxes are very high.
As it is you can't smoke in public, the rules for weed would be even more strict I believe.
I would love to see it legalized as a medicine, by prescription. People with severe chronic pain could get it more easily and not become criminals in an attempt to ease their pain. Because it is illegal I think that many people ignore it as an option for pain relief. If it were legal, and insurance paid for it, I might smoke it more. Fortunately morphine keeps the pain at bay enough to function most of the time, but when it doesn't, marijauna is the only thing that will.

you can buy papers and tobaco to roll your own cigaretts, I cant see why that would not also be the case if weed were legalized.

So would I. I wish it was easy for those suffering to get. Why is it so bad to forget pain?:(

I haven't read all of this because I just wanted to say one thing, "if the government controls the distribution of weed then it'll be full of chemicals." It already is, any street drug is about 5% of the drug and the rest of the ingrediants are to make it look like "more" than what it is.

It works better for certain pain in my case. When the swelling in my neck is at it's worst, after ultrasounds on the neck mostly. The way they push the transducer into the tumors and scar tissue causes increased swelling and pain for several days afterwards.

Anyway y view si probably bad...... Since i h=don't research this stuff.

Pple say weed is as harmfull as a cigarette...... In ways yess... However there are more skitzephrenic hobos (from all the weed) then cancer suffering hobbos with less money...

The good thing about this is legalising cannibas would cause it to be cheaper.. Butwhen taxs come in would it make a difference?

i disagree, legalizing it will only really be bad if you are an illegal distributor now as it will shut down your business.
They will sell nasty chemical weed, but just like they sell rolling tobacco they will sell bags of the stuff too!
also, you would be able to buy seeds and grow it yourself.

I totaly think this thread lost all purpose when i admited i was high when i made the post and came up with the idea.
