Wireless Connection..

Is there anyway to connect to my wireless router without a desktop computer? I only have my laptop and I think you have to buy an adaptor.

Does your computer have like, a little antenna button on it? Press that... then click on your task bar where the time, sound etc. is.
Right click, and click properties. When it says, "Select which system Icons to always show", check the box that says network.

Then after that, it should show like a 2 computers next to each other. Double click that. You should come to a window called "Connect to a network"

Your Wireless Router should have come with a name and stuff. Click on that, then click connect. Enter the password and stuff, and your done!

Hmmm... I think you have to have a computer already hooked up to the router so you can change setting etc. But it MIGHT work with a direct connection to the modem. Not too sure though...
