Xbox Has ****ed Me Over Once Again.

Alright, so 3 days ago I had no choice but to place an order for repairs on my 360, then guess what? At the very end I get: "Oh sorry sir, but I forgot to mention that it will cost you $110, your warranty has run out." I had no choice at that point, so, okay. Then I hadn't gotten my print-off labels for the order to UPS, so I called in again today, and I go through the whole "give me your information thing" a 3rd time. Found out the guy who placed it the first time couldn't get my email right after I spelled it 5 times. So the new guy corrects it with the new idea of repeating it to me. Then guess what? The ****ing system is down!!! Went through all that for nothing, and I still only get a "call us in the next 24 hours sir. Sorry for the inconvenience." CLICK. Oh, **** right off! Seriously! Dealing with these people is one of the hardest thing I have had to do. I really hate when I can't get something done because of another person's idiocracy, incompetency, or something else related to stupidity. Am I not allowed to have something repaired? It's gonna take me all the way to Christmas to get it back at this rate. I am getting very tired of things like this. Can't anything ever go right? I miss out on Farcry 2, Call of Duty: World at War, and anything else that is coming out.

dude that sucks. yeah i hate dealing with the roboticly brained people on the phone that are hell bent on ****ing me off in whatever way possible. here is one of my favorite words for discribing stupidity for you: dumbassity. not refering to you of corse.

Good to know that I'm not the only one has been there. For some reason, my biggest pet peeve is stupid people. Now I have to wait till tomorrow to call in again.

Can check your warranty status online, it said mine had run out but then changed last min when i registered for repair. Took me all of 15mins to register mine for repair and print the labels off, was one of the easiest things id done getting something fixed.

Should have done it online, customer support made things that much more difficult. Oh well. Just gonna call back tomorrow.

I never called or spoke to anyone at all with mine, i hate people and avoiding awkward conversation is always good. :lol:

:lol: Never really thought about it till I got there, now if I do it online, there is no progress on a repair, but I just made one. Man, I am not good with dealing with people over the phone. That will be my last resort next time.

Id heard how easy it was to register for repair online and thought id definitely try that before speaking to any other human being. :lol:

Luckily for me it was really easy and was all done and dusted in 15mins.

15 minutes??? Wow, I have been trying to get this done for days! Well, at least I know for next time. Hopefully there won't be a next time though.

Seriously! Dealing with these people is one of the hardest

Yeah my biggest problem was finding a box and some packaging to make sure it didnt get bashed around in transit as mine was sent to Germany.

Crap, I forgot that I needed a box. Man, where am I gonna get a plain one... Or should I just get another 100 bucks and buy the arcade system, then just put in the harddrive. Choices, choices. Man, now everyone is playing World at War, and I am missing out on it. This sucks. Worst possible timing that this could happen too... That always seems to be the case. Oh well, wish me luck hoping that I get it before too long, hopefully before Christmas.

Get any box and just put tape over the logos or whatever, i stole one from work along with the bubble wrap and polystyrene. :lol:

Looking at the other side of phone call--sometimes we are jaded--Today is rough. I took this call from this agent because she looked like she might go ape wild. So, I am not even sure what the problem is when I got on the phone. so when I asked, he just goes crazy on me. He is cussing and fussing. He is telling me our product is a piece of crap and it does not work. He does not want to trouble shoot the issue and he wants someone out for free and the works. So, I finally get the agent to tell me that the power will not come on. It won't come on at all? no. So, there are kids screaming in the background yelling about watching something type of crappy kiddy show.just some super high pitch squealing. But he is yelling at me, so whatever. So I ask him is the power cord plugged in. He goes ranting and raving about no one touched the equipment and couldn't i press a button on my end to fix the issue. I ask him again. He goes again, last time they just pressed the button and it came on. I told him 'Sir, I will make a deal. If you check the power cord and if it is plugged in. I will send that tech out for free and I will give you one package for free for a month after the tech comes out and fixes it. And only if he finds that the rcvr is plugged in and getting power is getting to it. What does he say...playboy for free. Gutsy man. I am like Deal. Two minutes later, there is some banging. The man comes back on. T.v is blaring in the background. He calls me a B and hangs up on me.

lol, not making light of how much that must suck to go through, but it is a hysterical story.

I can feel for you there Freaky. I used to work at a call center for a cell phone company. I quit after two weeks. The job was decent, the pay was good, the building was awesome, the coworkers were great, my boss was cool, but the people over the phone were less than appealing.

Yeah, It isn't for everyone. Money is a very good reason why I have stuck to it so long. The calls I have experienced and heard are stories I will keep for a long time and laugh at. Also job provides free stuff which--free is good.
