Cool Find +rep.
I'd found that balverine in the CREATURE list but didn't realise he was special, it did however remind me of that old rumour that killing x amount of guards in Oakvale spawned white balverines. Now I can finally have a monster boyguard, thank you :D

Yeah, He's a good balverine body guard. He makes me happy.

Afraid not, these mods are all PC only.

Urg! Darn. I'm thinking about buying the Fable lost chapters for PC anyway...

Re: Your own personal Body Guard

Monster gaurd is indeed from the killing 1024 gaurds in Oakvale.

game.bin->VILLAGE->VILLAGE_OAKVALE->CVillagePeopleDef

Has a spot where you can define gaurds and how many you can kill before they upgrade.

As for bodyguards you can use any non-combative creature. Probably has to do with needing a COpinionofHeroDef.

I think the monster guard is pretty nifty. I thought he was the guy in Knothole glade.
I like how he talks and has a voice. He's one of my favorite Guards. :D

Re: Your own personal Body Guard

Very well explained, its a shame I don't have fable for the pc :(

Re: Your own personal Body Guard

I'd also like to state that while the BRAIN_BODYGUARD isn't a requirement. It's important because it has special actions for following the player. I may make a hybrid version at some point so that the rival hero's can still use their abilities.

Re: Your own personal Body Guard

Do you need to start a new game to get the bodyguard to appear?

That's what I thought with the killing guards creature spawn, though I've tried it and perhaps I haven't made enough carnage... Time to dig out the good ol' battle axe!

Re: Your own personal Body Guard

I put an assassin in Lookout Point using Fable and Albion Explorer but he didn't show.
I've read the thread and can't figure out where I messed up. Is it possible its the CREATURE_ASSASSIN?

..Trust me there's a difference.
When you look at a map, there's a little list/tree veiw on the left side it'll say
-Lookout point
+Gameflow
+Null
+Q_Fireheart
+Q_Guild Training

and so on and so forth.
You have to make sure you spawn all things in either NULL or GAMEFLOW or they won't show up.
If you spawn anything on say..
Q_Fireheart it'll only appear during the fire heart quest.
Quests use different maps and markers. It has levels and such. Do you understand?
