Well, there are the few longer stories, such as "The Call of Cthulhu", "The Shadow Over Innsmouth", "The Shadow Out of Time" and "At The Mountains of Madness".

If you can stand reading longer stories, those are great introductions to Lovecrafts work.

And is it pathetic that Maryland's biggest lake (covers about 4,000 acres, with an average depth of about 27 ft and a max depth of about 75) is manmade? Worse, manmade by a company from Pennsylvania?

The lake thing is completely lost on me, I'm afraid. I'm sure it is very pathetic though if that helps?

As for spiders, I can handle them until they do that horrible sudden running thing - or jump. But I won't touch the big ones - I just can't bring myself to do it.

A serious question, for once-- I was curious if there was some way to see your rep history? As far as I can tell all that usually shows up is the last five or so you recieved, on your Options panel.

Also, Angel, my feelings are hurt. How dare you impugn the mightiness of Maryland's dam lake? (Okay, yes, I got an infantile giggle outta that.) Even if I did it first. But it is pretty damn huge, I think. Even if it's nothing on the Great Lakes, or Lake Champlain. Or any of a hundred or so others. And yes, the question was random and vaguely nonsensical, so it's probably good that it was somewhat lost on you.

EDIT: Also, disregard that first question. I'm pretty sure I asked it once already and had it answered. New question: Am I senile way ahead of schedule?

Took ages to write seeing as our internet keeps dying and I have to copy, paste and re-write bits that I didn't have time to save. Stupid internets...

Me no smokey coz it's a stupid habit to pick up but I like the smell of Mayfair best when they are first lit. Hate the smell of Sovereign though - horrible brand.
