I didn't like the Avo's Tear cause it just didn't look as cool as the Sword of Aeons.

I use AT cause im good, and because well honestly ive never used either one, but i would take AT when i get that far.

I agree making Aeons weaker was big mistake, they should have just made Avo's Tear 550 like Aeons was in the original. But like you said that takes away the temptation. But I look at it this way, it's nice that us goody good people get a reward for throwing Aeons away.

Nice... sure, but it kinda detracts from the whole "doing good for its own sake" thing that should be going on.

I mean in the original I never through It away because you didn't get anything for it.

Yeah. So you're not good. It was too tempting to resist, so you condemned your sister to death.

But know you can get Avo's Tear, so the rewards are more even for both sides.

The rewards for good and evil *shouldn't* be even, how can you squeeze any moral dillemma out of that sort of situation?

"Oooo, I can either spare the man's life and get 1000 gold, or I can kill him and get 1000 gold! Decisions, decisions!"

There should always be plenty of: "Should I spare the man's life, do the right thing, but not get anything out of it... or should I kill him and steal all his riches?"

... Good isn't (or rather, shouldn't) be about the rewards.

I do prefer the Avo's Tear but if the Sword of Aeons was as powerful as it was when it was featured in the original Fable then there would be no contest.
