Easier Balverine Transform Mod

[UPDATE]
Although Marco told us not to edit this mod, I did.
In Marco's version, you wouldn't get your weapons back when you transform back into the hero.
I changed that, so you will get them back when you transform back.


This is a replacement for Marcopolo's Balverine transform mod.
To be clear about this: I just transferred his work to a new fmp, nothing more.
Hence all credits go to Marcopolo for this, I just made it easier to apply.

No more screwing around with the cutscene editor (sorry Baystone ;) ), just load the fmp. (For the people who didn't know; before you had to apply the cutscene by hand, which was pretty complicated. Now its just; Start FE -> Load mod...).

How To:
I suggest making backups of your game.bin, script.bin and FinalAlbion.wad
(c:\Program Files\Microsof tGames\Fable the Lost Chapters\data\)

How To if you HAVE NOT used the FreeRoam App:
1. Start Fable Explorer
2. Click 'File' and 'Load FMP'
3. Select the Brown_Balverine_Transform.fmp (or White... of course)
4. Wait about a minute for FE to load the mod
5. Click 'Actions' and 'Save Mods and run Fable'
6. Wait for Fable to start

How To if you HAVE used the FreeRoam App:
1. Drop the GuildExterior.tng in the Data\Levels\FinalAlbion\ folder
2. Start Fable Explorer
3. Click 'File' and 'Load FMP'
4. Select the Brown_Balverine_Transform.fmp (or White... of course)
5. Wait about a minute for FE to load the mod
6. Click 'Actions' and 'Save Mods and run Fable'
7. Wait for Fable to start

To transform:
Go outside the guild, hit (with your fists or sword) the left sign to transform, and don't 'esc' out of the cutscene.
To transform back:
Hit the right sign and this time 'esc' out of the cutscene.

There could still be inventory problems with this mod, I haven't looked at that yet...

awesome i didn't want to install the other mod since i had to meddle with the cutscene editor so now i'm very happy +rep

Thanks :D but don't forget Marcopolo made this mod!

And I must say: I've made quite a lot of mods, and most of them are pretty popular, but I really think that this is one of the coolest mods available.

yes you are i already gave marcopolo +rep i think for the original one
and yes this mod is pretty cool but i'm waaaaaaay to lazy top reinstall fable tlc after doing a mod manually and losing half of the things that appear in fable explorer and i only had back-ups of a few things that aren't gone i don't know what i did wrong i already asked nobody answered.

im new to getting mods running on fable: lost chapters. i have FE, Marcopolo's Balverine transform mod and this "easy use" one but when i go to load mod the new "easy one" doesnt even show up. how do i get it working?

okey now ive tryed to download it atleast 10 times but it says the same evry time and it only comes out with 44.992 bytes so where did the rest go? @_@

Can you post fixes for the mod cause it does have a couple of annoying bugs...
Like when you cant hit trolls, golems, and skeletons and for some reason your defence is pretty low. theres another bug, each time you transform and un transform you don't get your spells back. :( So can you fix these bugs?

Ok so whenever i click the download link it says under the file name
save as type:WinRAR ZIP archive i click save but then when i go to fable explorer it wont show up so i can load the fmp and use the mod. Can someone here pls tell me what I'm doing wrong?:hmm:

this mod is freakin AWESOME. Someone should use this and make a fake nature documentary of balverines just for laughs.

I did list them on the top...
The really annoying one is that you cant hit Trolls, Golems, Skeletons, and I think thats all.

The really annoying one is when you cant hit Trolls, Golems, and skeletons, also its almost impossible to kill white bleariness's cause you cant insert silver augments.

I am not talking about the armor rating. I'm talking about that you cant damage Trolls, Golems, and skeletons! And changing the armor ratings for Trolls, Golems, and skeletons wont work either, they just don't take any damage.

Hi, Why do the "Will" Spells remove every time i "Turn"? :(
It makes me saaad...
Is there any balverine mod were this dose not happen? or am e doing something wrong?

I need help installing this mod. I run it in Fable Explorer and one of two things happen.

1. The signs don't show up.

2. The game glitches and the ground disappears.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? My computer passes the minimal requirements and runs just fine.
