So, I think they're done. Eight hours ago they tweeted:

50 Days of Lulz statement: http://t.co/GbAD070 | Torrent: http://t.co/lGsJ4PU Thank you, gentlemen. #LulzSec

First link leads to their final statement thinger.

Well, maybe now the internet will be slightly more peaceful.

For the past 50 days we've been disrupting and exposing corporations, governments, often the general population itself, and quite possibly everything in between, just because we could.
Who the f*** are you?

No, members and figureheads are being exposed and getting arrested worldwide. They're mistake was not attacking government intelligence agencies, no, that's child's play.
JohnDoe, you misunderstood what I mean. Regardless if these guys get arrested or whatever then someone else will come up in their place - and some also are already doing the same things but playing the silent game. It's just the start of a set of events which will be repeated over the next few years.

It's not about government websites which concerns me, nobody is that stupid to put some significant information up there. The problem is video game communities, such as forums, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, social websites and well anything out there which could also bother some people's everyday life. (Think about identity theft, credit card theft and so on)

They weren't expecting a 'happy ending' from the start, if you did read some of LulzSec's publications then you would understand that.

Yeah, you're right by that seeing things that view, but not entirely.

Rumor is the reason they're shutting is because they were out hacked and all of their identities were made public by a group known as the A-Team.
