Your last year should be great, teachers stop giving a crap about anything, uniform isn't that big of a deal anymore and being late isn't much of an issue. It's great fun. ^_^
Except the fact that they cram a load of coursework and revison down your thoat a month before your exams.
"nothing to fear" - epic lol. If only I hadn't already done the birth thing I could be blissfully ignorant of the whole process and believe all the crap they spin you about "breathing through the pain". It's going to hurt like hell and I'm going to make sure everyone in the vicinity knows just how much pain I'm in. And how many more drugs I want
School does suck - especially when it's not primary school anymore and keeping yourself occupied for 6 weeks is more complicated than bouncing a ball outside for 4 hours a day and watching CBBC in the afternoons before going to bed at 7. And do you know what's even worse? Everyone telling you "make the most of it because you'll never get holidays like them again" and "these are the best years of your life" - only to realise when you do hit adulthood that sadly those people were probably right and you're daydreaming about those "wonderful" long summers when you could do what you liked and didn't have a care in the world... sucks...
Yeah, I hear you there - summer holidays are great until you get to about the third day and realise there is crap all to do. For about 6 weeks. And then you're bound to find something really great at last only to notice that school begins again in less than 48 hours. Sucks...
Baby is doing ok as far as I know - I've got another midwife appointment on Tuesday to do the usual checks etc but he moves around a lot and seems to be ok. just over 5 weeks to go now...I'm terrified!
