A small Question..

Is Obama better then George W. Bush, Or Worse?

I am not an American, So i don't really pay attention to your government and politics, Kinda bores me.. But they said that Obama was going to be a Knight in Shinning armour, Has he?

I know some things will be Opinionated, But there has to be proof that he has done good or bad. I know he hasen't been the president for long so.. Just curious.

Re: A small Question..

I know Sean will argue this, but he's definitely smarter, and he was actually voted in. He's not a religious right winger (as Dubya was), and that's always a tick in my book. Overall, I would take Obama over Bush or Mcain (or any republican for that matter). Liberals FTW.

Re: A small Question..

Well, Im an american and I don't even follow our politics. But, Obama hasn't done anything to really **** me off and he seems to be able to form a proper sentence, so I'd say hes better than bush (no, bush does not deserve to have his name capitalized :P ).

Okay, This may sound dumb.. But.. What is Republican and Liberals??? Isn't the Republic like off Star Wars!? Haha!

But seriously..

I'm not sure what the political parties are in New Zealand, but in Australia we have Labour and Liberal. Labour is more liberal (meaning that they are more left wing, more secular, less conservative), whilst Liberal is more consevative (meaning they are right wing and less secular).

EDIT: Ok, the current government in New Zealand is the National Party (is that right Scarecrow?). They are a centre right party, which means they are slightly more conservative. The Labour Party, which was the last government, is a centre left party, which means it's more progressive.

In America, the left party are the Democrats (Liberals) and the right party is the Republicans (Conservative). They're a bit further away from centre than in Australia or New Zealand (where they are virtually the same). The Democrats won the latest election with Obama.

Better.

Don't ask stupid questions.

Give him a break. He doesn't know how the politics of your country work and he's allowed to ask. How else is he gonna find out. Seriously, don't give stupid answers.
