American Dad, Roger gets me almost every time especially with his ridiculous disguises. The dysfunctional family of Family Guy doesn't make me laugh anymore, nor does the stale humor.

I totally agree, though I love Steve more than Roger. :D steve is a great part of that show. They all are. and Yes, Family guy's humor does seem stale now...Though...

I like the star wars specials as well. They make me giggle. I like family guy episodes like that more then there random, sickly jokes that they do.

you should try watching some other ones, you never know you mighht like it. Bleach is pretty good (but would take FOREVER to catch up on.) You might enjoy Beserk. :ninja:

Question: Have you seen the movie Cloudy With a chance of Meatballs, if so did you like or dislike it? :D

"Cheeeeesseeburger.."

Re: Ask The Staff 'Anything'

Have you read the BOOK Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, if so did you like or dislike it?

C'mon, the book is ALWAYS better. Though now I'm going crazy trying to remember who wrote it... somebody-or-other... Minarik?

EDIT: Nope, a couple named Barrett. Else Minarik wrote the Little Bear series. Illustrated by Maurice Sendak!

... Look, I'm not going to be a librarian, I ****ing swear.

I don't hate anime, but there's a very large amount of mediocre releases.

Mostly 80s & 90s anime is what interests me, but I have a very soft spot for Dragon Ball since it's part of my childhood.

Random .gif sites, some I made myself from videos I have (such as my current), and others have been on my HDD for years but were never used.

Yes.

Yeah, I enjoyed it. I like how it wasn't as cliched as all the other CGI family films. I'd say the mayor was my favorite character.

I recently saw Ratatouille and I loved it.

You don't think you're secretly an idiot? You might want to reconsider that one.

I agree, episodes with a direction are funny. The randomness in lots of episodes got old quickly.

Well, I certainly don't think you're an idiot. I don't know who else does.

As for myself I don't secretly think I am, simply because I don't care. I continue to educate myself with things everyday due to my fascination with learning new things.

Re: Ask The Staff 'Anything'

I was trying to bait someone into replying with "yes, I think you're secretly an idiot." And I failed. That made me sad.

Keep in mind, also, I said "idiot" not "ignorant." You can be balls-out stupid dealing with say, math, or your fellow human beings, and still know about them (f'rinstance, in theory I know how to integrate a function. Let's see how that works in practice.) Or you can be an idiot AND ignorant, which is even worse.

Re: Ask The Staff 'Anything'

Gikoku, not a question, a comment. Loving the siggy.

Thank you.

Question for fellow Staff, if you won a million dollars.. what would be the first thing you purchase?

Re: Ask The Staff 'Anything'

So, Gikoku, do you realize how much your avatar reminds me of the reverse apple-bobbing my mom does with her students? Only she uses donuts, and her students are mostly black, with the occasional white kid, and usually five or under, and not young Asian women in any way.

Also, Gikoku, is "dippy sauce" acceptable Midwestern/Ohio dialect for "dipping sauce," as in sweet and sour or bbq or whatever?

Well I realize now, but that's quite interesting... shame about the ladies.

I've never heard anyone over here say "dippy sauce" before. Normally it's "pass me the dip" or "dipping sauce" if not that, then they'll refer to it by what it is which is BBQ Sauce or "The sweet n' sour."
