Bioshock 2

Just got the game now. It looks spectacular, alot like the first one but alot more 'wow'. The gameplay is almost identical, but annoyingly you have drill fuel which limits the rev capacity a little. Very atmospheric, BUT I noticed that the first time I played Bioshock, my life was slightly changed. It was that cool. However, nothing like that's happened so far....

Anyone that feels up for some multiplayer give me a shout.

Re: Bioshock 2

I might try it when it comes down in price. I wasn't a big fan of the first one and I've heard that it's more like BioShock 1.5. Then again, it's received plenty of positive reviews from critics so I might look into it a little sooner.

Buying it on the twentieth along with AVP.

I can certainly see why it's considered Bioshock 1.5, the gameplay is pretty much the same, only with different weapon textures, etc. However, the bits I've played are still top-notch, and the underwater scenes are AMAZING.

Re: Bioshock 2

Yeah, it's they didn't upgrade the graphics much from Bioshock 1, but I still think it's amazing.

I think they really hit the spot with this one, I mean, so what if the graphics aren't up to par with this years games, it is still a phenomenal experience. I wish I still had Xbox Live though. The multiplayer looks fun.

Re: Bioshock 2

Graphics =/= Great gameplay. Too bad most developers overlook this little known fact.

Re: Bioshock 2

I've got it resting on my desk at home(along with many other games such as Mass Effect 2 I just can't find the damn time for. Work sucks). I just hope this one will shower me in Ayn Rand goodness like the original. They better not be stingy with that!

Re: Bioshock 2

^ Lol. That's what I'm hoping for too - for the new developers to keep the philosophical ideas in this one, instead of making it another aimless shooter.

Re: Bioshock 2

Just bought this today. I bought the first one, which was a used copy, a couple of weeks back to see whether the sequel was worth gettin. I thought it was pretty awesome tbh (not that I have completed much of it lol). Will probs give my copy of bioshock 2 a go when I have completed the first one tho

Re: Bioshock 2

I will purchase it soon now ive done Mass Effect 2 one time and some achievements to finish.

Re: Bioshock 2

Just got it, got a little past the
Telekenisis plasmid.
then had to get off, I love it so far, though I know the underwater sequences will droded with me cause of my Oceanophobia (Made the name up, I have a great fear of water more than ten feet deep and the creatures inside of it.) especially since A droded shark went over my head! after I beat Bioshock 2 I am moving onto Mass Effect 2 baby!
