Comparision: Halo 1, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST

So, since the last installment (possibly) of the epic Halo series is about to be released, I thought it would be cool to take a moment and reflect on the last 3 games. Compare them and see which one is the best, or if they are all the same. A video of Halo 3 ODST gameplay was recently released, and I am sure that many of you have watched it. What did you think. I thought it looked awesome. So anyways, post you thoughts an ideas here. Thanks!

Halo 1 wins... Though ODST looks like it might beat it.

Halo 1 was better than all of the other Halo's combined.

And to me, ODST looks like Halo, Call of Duty style.

Their all overrated. Sorry. I used to like Halo 3, then I played CoD4.

The first one was the best though. 2 and 3 where ok. Now their just milking the franchise as much as possible.

Especially Halo. Especially any WW2 re-enactment like Call of Duty. Especially any other like Gears of War.

Halo 1 was best because it was the first one that came out. It's like when you're having a second kid, you'll never get that initial exitement you got from the first one.

i liked all of the halo's, but the first one was the best to me. ODST might be better, but im just not sure. halo 3 was pretty good also!

The only way ODST would be better than Halo CE: Firefight and freeroam, I love games like that...

Halo 1 because at the time it broke the mould, large levels, intelligent AI, amazing co-op, great system link deathmatch and story was interesting. The others just couldnt repeat the 'fresh' feeling i got after playing Halo 1. Story on Halo 2 was all over the place and the cliff hanger ending was annoying. Halo 3 was good but had some poor level design choices, the theater mode was genius though and its still in top 2 Xbox Live games played. Hopefully ODST revives that 'fresh' feel as its a different character and it will play differently.

i was wrong when i said that odst would be the last of the halo games. they are still gonna make more like halo legends and halo reach. this may be a stupid idea, but how bout they make a rpg of halo? lol

Halo Reach should be exceptional if they execute it right.

halo 1 wins. it was simple.
the physics, the guns, everything just came together...dare i say...perfectly?

I have lost some hope for Halo since 3 and Wars, but ODST might revive it... Once Bungie moves on (After Reach) it will suck as Microsoft squeezes it for even more cash.

i also hate any WWII fps cus there are like 40 of them 20 of witch are CoD
halo 3 is the best IMO cus of forge and awesome online

Halo Wars wasnt created by Bungie.

Only 4 proper Call Of Duty titles (created by Infinity Ward), the rest just have the CoD name. CoD, CoD 2, Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2.

Modern Warfare alone sold over 13 million copies and the original won over 70 Game of the Year awards and 50 Editor's Choice Awards.

Forge was a great idea and one of the first proper level editors people could upload to the net on a console. Huge step in the right direction and i hope more titles start using things like that.
