Damn it EA!

first they ruin the Tiberium series now they ruin Red Alert... I feel like I have been sodomised with a rusty broom handel! leave it to EA the only good part about C&C 3 was better graphics and Kane was still cool... bur all red alert 3 did was make Hells March 3 the ONLY song that I thought was awesome from the soundtrack and that it looked more like a cartoon toy war!

EA is the gaming devil. They corrupt and ruins everything they touch. I don't hate a lot of developers/publishers, but I can honestly say I hate EA. Whenever I'm looking up a new game, and I spot their damn logo on it, I just feel like crying.


And most of the cases, I do cry.

I know how you feel EA is quite possible the only company I hate,
I have had angry periods: Bungie taking advice from bigger companies for Halo 3... Blizzard for taking the original feel out of there games, but they usually make up for it (Bungie is being much more consumer freindly than most developers, and Blizzard is quite possibly the best storytellers out there.)

Spore? Hardly. It's been cut down to a mere copy of it's original self and idea. It installs spyware and malware upon installation and the support is down the drain.

It's a perfect example of how EA has ruined an awesome game.

The Sims? Spore was OKAY, but as soon is you get past the creature stage, it all falls apart. And Mirror's Edge looks and plays nice, but apparently you get no back story, and it is very repetitive.

I can't say I've ever been insulted, or upset by EA games.

I love American Mcgee's Alice and sims, and probably any other game they've come out with. What's the company do that's so terrible

(Besides not making a game to your/he/she/it every whim)

they dont put enough work into their games, the customer service is crap (at least here it is) and they cancel great projects and ruin great series: they ruined C&C for all the fanboys (like me) and they canceled Tiberium, which was a FPS that all the game magazines were scraping for info on it and all the the C&C fans were drooling over the Idea of it, then EA says screw it...

Enough work into their games? Have you played American Mcgee's alice? That game is ancient, AND huge. Blizzard Canceled Starcraft: Ghost, a very cool FPS, but I don't hate them for it. any other reason?

1. They put spyware/malware into their games, which installs itself onto your PC without you knowing.

2. They come up with totally stupid and ridiculous ways to battle piracy of their games. These do nothing but punish the paying customer, like putting a limit on the number of times you can reinstall a game.

3. They slaughter the games they publish. EA doesn't develop most games, they just publish them. They meddle to much with the actual development, like making them cut content to sell in later expansion packs. Spore is a good example of that.

4. The support is either non-existent or completely incompetent.

they destroyed Westwood, Frank Klepacki wouldnt work with them for the soundtracks, they almost didint hire Joseph Kucan for Kane and got rid of Westoods original idea of keeping the Scrin a mystery race, and somehow in C&C3 GDI decided to downgrade themselves, they wrecked Red Alert 3 by changing the main character (Tanya), and I barely played red alert 3 before I broke the disc...
