On topic: Someone uploaded a full video of Dane Cook, one of my favourite comedians, doing his gig at the Vicious Circle.

Here is the link, this thread will be used to discuss and praise his brilliance.

And I've never really found Dane Cook funny. I dunno why.

I thought the very first time I saw him he was a little funny, though after he said the same jokes in two more specials I found it very bland and tasteless, much like Family Guy.

All Dane Cook fans I do pray they will find someone who relies on jokes and not screaming and acting like someone who is suffering from a seizure.

He's articulate and points out a lot of truths, as well as stimulating the brain so that you actually think. I think he's a comedy genius to be honest.

EDIT: Look at comedians and comedy legends like Tommy Cooper, he shouted a lot and his whole pitch was about magic going wrong. He was a genius, and that goes undisputed.

Let me introduce you to a thing called intellect. It can give you some thought stimulation.

Listen, I didn't start this thread to bicker. I started it to discuss a good comedian, which is undisputed because he wouldn't be so successful if he wasn't good.

If you want to discuss your bad tastes in comedy, take it to PM.

I really don't think acting as the Kool Aid guy, or saying "Chicks, dude, chicks!" for a minute straight is funny.

But then again Louis Black says "Michael Jackson" for god knows how long and I find him funny. :lol:

George Carlin is where it's at. Too bad he's deceased now.
And, to agree with Skotekal, I never really found Dane Cook to be funny either.

Well, I watched the first half of it, and some of it was pretty funny. I liked the Windex jokes. :lol:

Also, sometimes yes, I must, and I mustn't, I just dislike Dane Cook and his 'comedy', and the fact that what you quoted was in response to "Only people good at what they do are famous", I would have a problem if you didn't argue that is a complete load.
