The PS2 Was a grand Machine, Never had one myself. Well now I do! Got it for free haha.
I went from.. Sega Master System, N64 Play Station 1 Xbox and then Xbox 360.. So yeah. Pretty cool.

when they release the new god of war and killzone 2 it will go waaaay up for ps3...and (i'm praying!!!) a new kingdom hearts game...the original busted out the best graphics the ps2 could handle, i would expect it to strain the ps3 system just as much.

Umm seriously...? Never played Final Fantasy X, MGS 3, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas or Gran Turismo 4 on the PS2?

lol have played final fantasy a little...those graphics are amazing as well. but the visionary behind all of the best final fantasies went to xbox and made lost odessy...GTA i played pretty little...and i suck at realistic driving games so i have barely looked at gran turismo
in the years i had my ps2 my parents still cared about what i played...i mean they even disapproved of super smash bros

Well the titles i listed were the ones to push the boundries of what PS2 was capable of. I mean take a look at this cut scene from Final Fantasy X and tell me if you thought the PS2 GFX chip was capable of that.

FFX was great, but not as epic as FFVII, MGS3 was better than 2, never properly played GTAVC but played GTASA on Xbox, and Gran Turismo 4 was good, but there there was always something lacking about 3 & 4. I own a 360 and PS3 and definately love the 360 more. Only own one game for PS3 and thats Metal gear solid 4 ha ha and have a vast collection for my 360. Plus the achievements make 360 fun

Not many people were 'fighting' just saying which they preferred. Would be like saying, why dont all the best sports teams for each sport merge to create one super team for each sport? The answer is simple, companies and teams perform better when they have got good competition and it makes things more entertaining.
